Redken Align 12 Ultra Straight Balm Reviews

I have long hair, currently a bit short but generally it's pretty long.  My hairdresser told me I should only wash it every 2-3 days because otherwise it gets way too dried out and the natural oils never have a chance to return.  I took her advice, but every time I wash my hair it is still pretty dry for at least 1 day after washing it.  Last time I was at the hairdresser she had blow-dried and straightened my hair and used Redken align 12 ultra-straight balm beforehand.

Redken Align 12 Ultra Straight Balm is the most effective and easiest hair straightener that I have ever found. I'm not particularly talented at hair styling and have tried many different products in an attempt to make my long hair silky-straight rather than the slightly wavy frizziness that it otherwise tends toward. However, most products that I've tried have either left my hair still mostly wavy/frizzy or have required far more work than I am willing to go through on a daily basis in order to make my hair straight. I have used Redken products for about five years now.  One of the best products is the Align Ultra Straight Balm.  I have thick, naturally wavy hair that is tough to manage.  I use one or two pumps of the balm (my hair is shoulder length or longer) and put it in after my shower and I towel dry my hair.  I put more on the hair on the back of my head (where is it more wavy).  After blow drying and using a straight iron my hair is smooth and straight.  This product helps keeps some moisture in my hair and keeps the frizzies down.  For added smoothness the Redken Outshine is amazing!

I have fine, frizzy, wavy hair. Consequently, I have to blow dry my hair after every shampoo. I always use product to add shine and smoothness. Most products only give little, if any, noticeable difference. After recieving a sample of this at my local Ulta store, I was very surprised. I won't go so far to say that this is any kind of miracle cream, but I did notice that my hair was much smoother and straighter after my blow dry.
