Redemption Review Summary

Looking for up-lifting, yet true-to-life Christian themed fiction that resonates with anyone in a relationship? Then look no farther than Redemption. The first in a series of novels by Karen Kingsbury and Gary Smalley about the Baxter family revolves around their struggles, this case, with infidelity. Kari Baxter Jacobs is the arch typical young Christian wife who receives the unthinkable phone call that her husband is cheating. Her response is from a believer's perspective and from a young woman in love who refuses to give up. "The tragedy that the Baxter family endures is heartbreaking, yet through it all they keep their eyes on Christ." and "They will motivate and inspire you to turn your heart to God and trust Him in everything" Kingsbury and Smalley take us along on a journey with hills and a very deep valley and remain inspirational as "This series reminds us once again that we are not alone in that journey." As one reviewer says, "Karen Kingsbury's books are incredible, uplifting, real life stories.". Redemption is about just that and comes highly recommended.

Book 1 of the Redemption series.  What an awesome introduction I received to Karen Kingsbury and Gary Smalley's writing style.  I couldn't put this book down once I began reading it.  The characters are so real, they could be my family.  No one is perfect in this series of books, and it is so true that love is a decision.  We decide every day which road we will travel down.  This series reminds us once again that we are not alone in that journey.

This book was so awesome.... as well as the following books in the series!  Couldn't put them down.  Karen Kingsbury is an amazing author.  I have read many of her books and have enjoyed them all.  They are just enough of a "drama" with a Christian approach so it gave me the best of both.  Her books are easy reading as well which is great for a vacation or just lounging around so it makes it nice and relaxing.

Karen Kingsburys books are incredible, uplifting, real life stories... I can't say enough about her, I have never been disapointed with any of her books.  Try one, you won't be able to put it down, and when you finish you won't be able to wait to get to the next book.
