I work at our local Zoo, so of course I love all animals.  Before I started working there, I never imagined having a snake for a pet.  But our red tail boa, whose name is Slick, has fit in with my family very well.  They are fun to hold, very clean and gentle.  As with many animals, if they are treated kindly, they act kind.
