Red Robins - Ventura, CA Review

While it is true my first dining experience is due to a gift certificate for Christmas, I discovered this Red Robins to be a place I will definately enjoy returning to to spend my own money.  It wasn't just the good food.  It wasn't just because of the interesting enviornment - I like to look around at the walls and the people when I am out for a new dining experience.  It was the service.  Not just our drink server, or our waitress, but all of the people working here on the day after Christmas were pleasant faced, happy, and cheerful in their demeanor.  I watched the other servers interacting with their customers as we walked in, as we dined, and most notable was how we were acknowledged, thanked, and invited to come again as we left.  They all spoke to us with genuine intent in their voices and faces, not just mouthing a phrase to us.  The food and drinks were delicious and we felt well attended to by our servers the entire time. 

If ever any of the readers of this review find themselves traveling the Pacific Coast Highway or Highway 101 and discover they have reached Ventura, California, if you are hungry and want a great meal in a nice place to eat that won't fracture your budget, stop in at the Red Robins at the Pacific View Mall on Main Street in Ventura.  You will not regret it.
