Reality Television —
Reality Shows: I think they are great, entertaining and spontaneous. You never know what is going to happen. They are unpredictable, unlike sitcoms and even some dramas or romance comedies. Since all of these new reality shows have shown up on television, I love them, more and more. My boyfriend gets mad at me because I like them, but as it happens, there are some new reality shows on now that he loves and never misses, like "Deadliest Catch". Recently, we have seen previews for other reality shows like (I'm not sure of the exact name of the show but it's something like "Ice Road Truckers" about truck drivers that have to drive over ice roads and it's very dangerous because the ice could crack and the trucks could actually fall into the ice and the drivers can be killed! HE LOVES THESE NEW "MEN" kind of reality shows. Not like the ones I watch like, "Dancing With the Stars", "American Idol", "Keeping Up With The Kardashians", "Snoop Dog's Fatherhood', "Deion and Pilar", and shows like that that i LOVE! Oh Wait!....He actually likes ONE of the reality shows that I love, which is "Top Chef"! Yeah!!!! I'm so exited! Anyway, I even love shows like "The Batchelor" , "The Batchelorette" and "Step It Up And Dance", shows he REFUSES TO WATCH, but I think I'm slowly getting him into certain "chick flick" reality shows like: "Denise Richards, It's Complicated"!!! He actually likes that one! Maybe there is hope yet! But, then again...I can't believe he's has gotten ME interested in the "men" reality show called "Deadliest Catch".!!!! I ACTUALLY LOVE IT! So...maybe there is hope yet for men and women to like and watch some of the new reality shows TOGETHER!!! I SAY, YEAY!!! FOR REALITY SHOWS - THEY KEEP GETTING BETTER AND BETTER AND I LOVE THEM!
