Reality Television Review

I am skeptical of reality television.  The trick is to put a spin on the same theme.  It's not enough to just survive, then you have to survive and be daring to become the president of a Fortune 500 company. 

It's not enough to just have a dating game, then a blonde bombshell gets hooked up with 30 geeky looking guys to determine "do looks really matter".  Or worse, a young professional needs to choose someone to marry out of 25 potential "soul mates". 

Personally, I like a talent show.  "American Idol" is an original and it's worthwhile.  A music CD and concert is a great reward in the end.  Best yet, they don't show the backstage drama.  "Last Comic Standing" and "America's Next Top Model" take this reality beyond annoying and into the "in bad taste" category.
