I save every issue of ReadyMade magazine.  It's compelling and creative.  Need ideas to help organize and remodel in a small urban space?  Want to make your own version of an expensive designer piece?  Care about reuse, recycling, and re-purposing every day items into something you need?  I always get ideas from ReadyMade.  The ideas are well described and easy to replicate.  It's a good mix of crafting and home improvement - with projects on all scales of involvement from a few minutes to a week.  One of my favorite ReadyMade projects is how-to make your own bedroom mattress platform,...

I found this magazine in a coffee shop; I have since seen it in others.  It's the kind of mag you want to linger over a cup with.  Some of the projects are hipper than they are useful or attractive, and some aren't possible for me in my living space.  Still, it makes me want to make my space more attactive without wasting money or materials, and that's a "good thing"
