Okay I must tell you first thing that I am one of the 'flossing Nazis' yes I am a dental hygienist. Ok with that out of the way, I must tell you I use this on all of my patients and myself. Rarely do I have it shred even in between the tightest teeth (my patients are always saying they have tight teeth, few REALLY do). Teeth should be snug together! anyways, this floss removes much more plaque than the 'famous' glide floss and it does not cut the tissue if you accidentally slip, Glide tends to do that. This floss leaves a good taste too, refreshing! And it is among the cheapest floss you can buy.
Remember at least 18 inches of floss, wrap it around middle and ring finger, hold between thumb and index finger and gently slide side to side to get it below the contact point on the teeth, then scrub up and down on each tooth, being careful when you switch teeth, pull floss up over tissue and down again, not straight across, that tissue is important! Good flossing takes more than a couple seconds, dont just 'pop' it between the teeth, it doesnt do any good and you will end up hurting yourself and not wanting to floss again!
