Well, being a christian mother of 3, I am picky on what my kids will watch. Overall this movie is entertaining, nice plot, ends nicely, and pretty kid friendly. It is no exception however, to having parts slipped in randomly that didn't need to be there even if they do go over a kids head. With kids movies now a days, you can't escape the adult humor. Thinking back, there really was only one part like that, and it was very brief. (The rat .. Remy, is looking for food and is looking down into these rooms from an overhead air vent. He stops at one room and a french girl is pointing a gun at her boyfriend.. he says she doesn't have the guts and she puts the gun down and they start kissing.) If you ask me, it just was not needed. Don't let my negative comment sway you though, even though I had those things to say, let me say this.. It is one movie my kids can watch, It does have a really cute story line, the animation is great and the characters are adorable. I give this movie a 4 star rating.
