Rao's - Las Vegas, NV Review

If you are looking for a gourmet restaurant in Vegas, where you can actually recognize the foods that you are eating, I would recommend checking out Rao's.  We were celebrating a 30th birthday and it was an excellent way to do it.  From the wine list to the dessert, the entire experience was wonderful.  Our waiter told us the history of the restaurant, offered recommendations, really made us feel right at home.  We started with the mozerrela in carozza covered in the best marinara sauce I have ever had, had the liguine in clam sauce, grilled shrimp, pasta a la vodka, and the gnocchi.  We finished with a cannoli and some after dinner drinks.  The experience was well worth every penny that we paid for the meal!!  One recommendation, try to get an earlier reservation (ours was at 9:30pm).  By that time, they had run out of a few of the popular menu items.
