I rate this perfume as my all time favorite. It has a light, sweet fragrance that continues to last for hours. I have even had ladies stop me at the grocery to ask what I was wearing and where they could get it. it is the absolute best value for the price and is appropriate to wear to any occasion.

i love everything about this product! i have been trying to look for the right perfume for myself a while now, and you know how hard it is to find a perfect one? i get allergy all the time when i try new perfume. but this perfume did not give me any allergy. it smells so good on me. i only put a little bit of it on me and it lasts almost the entire day. i was shock to see how far it lasts. my other perfumes did not last that long like this one. i am so glad it lasts longer than i expect. i usually wear it to work or anywhere, and people usually give me good compliments. they said how good i smell and wonder if i can give them the product name so they can go and buy it. of course i was glad to give them the information. the smell is not strong also. another good thing about it. i love how the smell is so light yet it captures so many people's attention. i buy many perfumes and none (other than this one) gets anyone's attention. i highly recommend this product.

I generally don't wear a lot of perfume but my sister has always loved Romance and ive purchased it for her as a gift so many times, it's a wonder i never bothered to smell it until recently because it's absolutely divine! She's used it for ten years now and i just recently tried it on after her birthday when i was at her house offering her yet again another bottle of this perfume. She told me to try it and i put on just a spritz because i thought i would hate it but i actually really like it. When I went home that evening, my bf commented on how wonderful i smelled, he said it reminded him of being in a garden and i have to admit, i love the scent too. After just one try, im hooked on this perfume and have already purchased a set that included a lotion which also smells wonderful. It's a great gift and if you've been like me and never tried it yourself, try it because you'll be sure to love it.

This is my absolute favorite perfume out there! The scent is light and sweet without being overpowering and it is a very sexy aroma. My husband loves the smell. A little goes a long way too! Unlike other perfumes, you just need a couple of sprays to get noticeable results. Another thing I love about Romance is that is appropriate for everyday use because the smell is not overpowering and light. I can wear it to work, on a date (with my husband of course) or just to run some errands and it doesn't seem out of place. I love that people always ask me what I am wearing when they get withing smelling distance and talk abotu how great it smells. There is nothing worse than being smelly! The bottle is cute, simple and elegant also. It is a fairly pricey product, but I have found that it lasts a long time which makes it worth it. Many of the cheaper products require a lot of sprays to get a noticeable frangrance so in the long run you really pay more. Plus it is completely worth the splurge because it smells so yummy!

This is one of my favorite fragrances! It is truly a classic and the name of it describes it so perfectly. It is a lovely floral fragrance and it instantly brightens my mood when I wear it. It is just so soft and inviting and perfect for quiet nights at home with a loved one. One of the many things I love about this perfume is the fact that it lasts a long time. I apply it in the morning and can still smell it on me later in the evening! It can be difficult to find fragrances that are long lasting, so I really appreciate that. Also, while this fragrance is a soft one, it is also strong at the same time, so you don't need to use a lot of it. I usually only spray it once or twice and it lasts for the entire day. I'm going to be wearing this alot now that Spring is almost here. It is a perfect scent to wear for Spring . It is perfect for the warmer months as well. I highly recommend this fragrance!

This is my all-time favorite perfume and I'd recommend it to any girl looking for a clean and classic, yet romantic scent. Whenever I wear it (and keep in mind, it lasts hours and hours, usually until the end of the day if I've put it on in the morning), I always get compliments from girls and guys alike. Also, you don't need a whole lot of it, unlike a lot of the other perfumes I've purchased. A spritz on the wrist and one on the neck is all you really need to get the full effect of the scent. Most of Ralph Lauren's other perfumes are also light, yet long-lasting. I'll never hesitate to try one of his new scents, but Romance is (and probably always will be) my very favorite scent. One bottle should last you around a year if you spritz in moderation. If you're unsure, look for a sample in a magazine and rub on your wrists. You'll be hooked - it smells way better on your skin that on paper or in a bottle.

before i got married, my (future) husband asked me what my favorite perfume at the moment was, ie, one that i didnt have already and really wanted. immediately i mentioned ralph lauren romance, since i was in love with the smell since i tried a tester in a magazine i had read once. im a huge fan of florals, so if you dont like that class of scents, you can skip this one. however, its a spicy floral, and whenever i wear it, ive gotten compliments. its a light enough scent to wear on a daily basis when running the daily errands, but im sure you can wear it in the evening as well (i have a defferent perfume for the evening so ive never tried). after my initial bottle finished, i went on to try other perfumes, but as fate would have it, i was gifted a RL coffret set by a friend, which had a 1 oz bottle of romance included. and so my love affair with this perfume continues. defenitely a keeper!

I absolutely love perfumes.  I have too much to count. Out of my whole collection,  I must say that Ralph Lauren Romance is my all time favorite.  It is a sophisticated sent that you can really wear in any season, day or night.  It is long lasting but not overpowering at all.  The bottle is elegant and classy.  The sent is floral with some musky undertones. You feel very elegant when you wear this.  This scent is not really one that will "go out of style" anytime soon, yet it is really a classic sent.  The price tag on Romance is within the normal price tag. Even if it was a little more expensive, it's really fine being a bottle lasts a very long time.  Still to this day, I get compliments on this all the time.  Ladies, be prepared when you wear this that you will get stopped and asked all the time what perfume you are wearing.   I love the fact the scent doesn't fade throughout the day.  Love it!

**I received this perfume for the first time from my husband on one of our anniversaries. I instantly loved it. It might smell a big strong at first, but once you let it wear a little it really is beautiful. It has a floral smell to it, which I normally hate bu they balance it well. The bottle lasts a long time, and I would buy it over and over. It really is classic and is great for special occasions or everyday. But afterwards I started saving it for special days to make it seem even more beautiful. I like a few of RL fragrances so this just adds to the list :) **

I LOVE perfumes! I have more perfumes than I can count on the spot! However, Romance by Ralph Lauren, is one of my very favorites of all times, along with Chance, by Chanel (which I do not have yet :(...), and Dolce Gabbana (which I finally got it this Christmas from my mom YAY :)...) ! I was give one by my mother on Christmas 2009 and have used it on special occasions ever since! It is a timeless fragrance! It is appropriate to be used any time of the day or night! It is soft enough for day and remarkable enough for night, in particular the special ones! Besided the perfume's smell being wonderful, its presentation is nice too: I think the box is pretty (pink and silver), and the bottle is also good looking. You do not need to put on a lot, a little spray goes long away! I also like that the fragance lasts a while, so you still smell good after several hours of putting it on! I always receive lots of complements when I wear it! if you are a guy looking for a nice gift for that special girl in your life, you found it! I have always heard only good things about this perfume! I strongly recommend it!
