I liked this restaurant so much, very fun for the kids and the adults. The decor is really cool, it does get very noisy in there though. Every 10 or 15 minutes all the robots start moving and making animal noises which my son didn't appreciate until after about 20 minutes (he spent the first couple of... review »

This place is ridiculous!  The food is overly-priced, the wait is ludicrous and the service is terrible... they're just plain rude to you.  I was shocked on how poorly this establishment treat their customers.  The restaurant has a fun and unique decor and great for kids, especially the aquariums,... review »

Easy going diner

I ate here with this past weekend with a party that included 2 couples and their 2 kids. All we got were sodas and appetizers and the total bill came to $80.

All we got were the basics like chicken fingers, mozzarella sticks, potato skins and a couple of side salads. I have to say that on top of the high prices, we had to wait a long time to get any part of our order.

While the kids enjoyed looking at the fish tanks, that experience alone wasn't worth what we paid.

I would not recommend this place at all.

My husband and I went there the first time when we were married.  We don't live in Texas but we go there every summer.  Every year we make a trip to see family and make a special trip to eat a the Rainforest Cafe.  We love the Grapevine Mall so we do some shopping and have dinner at the Rainforest Cafe. Last year we went for my sons fourth birthday.  They acctually had a clown there making animal balloons so that was an extra bonus.  They brought out a chocolate lava cake and ice cream with sparklers in it.  My son still talks about it.  The setting inside is so cool it actually has a waterfall...

I absolutely love rainforest cafe in Grapevine Mills.  It has so much to offer families, and is a great place to celebrate occassions such as birthdays.  The gift shop has a variety of things to purchase, and the food is appealing to both kids and adults.  The variety of food is sure to please even the pickiest eater.  The animals come alive many times throughout dinner, each one at a different time, and then all together at some times as well.  While waiting for dinner, you  can browse the gift shop with has many different things including build a bear stuffed toys.

My visit to the RainForest Cafe in Grapevine, Texas was for a birthday dinner for a family member. There was twelve in our party with five of them being children. The kids absolutley loved the animals and huge fish tanks. I was surprised at how great the food was, I expected children type food. Our waitress was great with the kids and her service was great, she stayed on top of her game juggling twelve people!! We waited what I thought was appropriate for our size party, about twenty to twenty-five minutes. The animals kept us all entertained.

Rainforest Cafe had mediocre food at nest, and poor service (at least in my experience) however.. the atmosphere is super fun, so I was excited to take my 2 year old.  Well, that was a mistake!  It was too scary for him, which was suprising since he loved the animatronics at Walt Disney World.  Anyway- we spend 70 bucks on a terrible meal, and had an unhappy child!  No Bueno!

I HAVE BEEN TO HIS PLACE TWICE IN LAST 2 YEARS AND WAS DISAPPOINTED EACH TIME. THE FOOD IS PRICEY FOR BEING A FAMILY THEMED RESTAURANT. THE DECOR AND THE SOUNDS ARE GREAT, BUT THE FOOD BESIDES BEING EXPENSIVE HAS NO FLAVOR AND VERY PLAIN LIKE.

MAYBE OK FOR A SPECIAL OCASSION FOR THE KIDS, NOT WORTH EATING AT A LOT.

This is a great place to eat, especially for the kids. However, there's usually a long wait (especially on weekends) and it is pretty pricey, especially for families. The food is good, but not great. Also very noisy with all of the "animal atmosphere".

Food is only fair, prices are ridiculous and choices are limited.  The only thing this place has going for it are the great aquariums and fun atmosphere for kids.

The Rainforest Cafe has a fun atmosphere and the food is good enough but it's not worth many repeat visits due to the price.
