I originally wanted a product to cover my grey, but hated the idea of being locked into a chemical routine.  Then I found this Rainbow Henna.  Compared to what my friends pay to have their hair colored every few weeks, this is an amazing bargain.  The first time you will need more, but then you can just use a small amount to touch up.  I do it once a month.  First, follow the directions.  I mix it with black coffee instead of water, and make it like a pudding consistency.  Apply to damp hair, then wrap in plastic (I use a lettuce baggie or something) then wrap a towel around.  I bought a hair turban towel at the grocery store to use.  Leave on two hours then rinse.  I use a conditioner for colored hair to help me rinse out the henna.  Do not shampoo until 24 hours later - the color deepens.  I have gotten so many compliments!  It does have a fresh hay odor, but I think it's better than some chemical kind of smell.  My grey is really covered and I'm so glad I found this product.
