Rainbow D4C Vacuum Cleaner Review

The best vacuum cleaner I ever owned was a Rainbow D4C Vacuum Cleaner (currently I do not own one). I purchased it new after an in-home demonstration. It performed by far better than any other vacuum I have ever used. I like that it collected the dirt in water and I just emptied the waste onto my flowerbed, rinsed and air dried the water basin, put it back together and stored in the closet. Suction never decreased like happens with vacuums that use bags, and they pick up wet spills. I also used it as an air cleaner - WOW what a difference it made! At the time I had a fabulously interesting long-haired cat that would ride on top of the canister as I vacuumed, or sit on it when I ran it as an air cleaner (I think he liked the way the air from the machine vented and blew his fur - probably cooling him down). They have come out with newer models which are supposed to be more powerful and quieter, and I would love to buy another one, however they are very pricey. I paid $1500 for the one I had, and I am not sure what the newer models sell for now. I also had the shampooer attachment which worked well to clean the interior of the car I owned at the time.
