The rainbow vacuum is the best vacuum around. It sucks up everything and I love that it has no bags . With the canister if I pick up a small all important toy , I can open it up and retrieve the toy. I had a rainbow in the past and it got old so I tried to go cheaper and the vacuum I purchased didn't even compare to the rainbow. I threw the terrible vacuum away and now have another rainbow which I absolutely would recommend to anyone !! Definitely buy a rainbow if you need a vacuum, it is so worth it I promise!

I have owned 2 Rainbows. Yes they are expensive but they do everything you want and more. My first Rainbow I had for 3 years and I sold it to get a new one. In the 3 years I had it I never had one problem with it. The new one I had I only had for a year because someone liked it more than me and stole it from my house. But besides that It is awesome. It works in so many different places. It is easy to use and not to heavy. In a house I used to have had 3 sets of stairs and they were all carpet. This vacuum was so easy to use on the stairs compared to a regular vacuum since you dont have to take the whole vaccum up every single stair. Maneuverability I could use it anywhere at anytime. I can not wait till i can buy another one. Ease of Maintenance I had never had one problem with Rainbow vacuums. Suction Performance The vacuums I had never lost suction. It picked up everything. I know your not suppose to vacuum up things like nails and paperclips but on occasion it happens and it was no match for this product. Versatility The Rainbow vacuum does so many different things its crazy. Design I absolutely loved this vacuum. Honestly it could be the most ugliest thing i had ever seen and I would still love it because it does what it is suppose to and it doesnt stop. Durability Not once did this product ever let me down. It had been dropped many times. My kids played with it and it survived.

My mother got a rainbow when I was a little girl and I've tried not to be without one ever since! I would say that's been close to 45-50 yrs. ago. I love that it makes me feel like my house is so much cleaner than if I use something else. And I like that when reading articles or books about cleaning, writers always say you should dust AFTER you vacuum....."unless you have a Rainbow vacuum cleaner.............." When we bought our first one after getting married, IRS was allowing people to use the purchase of a Rainbow as a tax deduction if purchased for needed air purification! That says volumes!

This vacuum is the best thing to ever happen to my house. It picked up all the dust and does not throw it back in the house. I am very allergic and this vacuum was the solution to all my problems. I have had it for almost 10 years and has never broken down. I recently had it serviced with a tune up and came back even better. I would recommend this to anyone with kids and/or pets. You will be able to see the difference the firs time you use it. You wont see dust right back on your other furniture. The cleanup is very easy with the water bucket under it. You just discard the dirty water, rise the recipient and it is ready for next time. Definitely worth the investment as it will give you years of great service. I do however feel the easy of movement of this model is a bit inconvenient. It rests on wheels but you have to push it around to move and it is bulky. It still would not be a reason for me to stop using. I believe that never models are probably lighter weight.

This is a very good sweeper! It's tough, and strong, and picks up dirt extremely well! I love all the extra attachments that come with it! It's so nice to have everything you need all in one set! The only thing however that I do not like is that it is such a pain to set up, (put water in tank) and then to clean it out is the worst, it definaetly picks up dirt, then you get to clean the gross mess up. So if you don't mind that part it truly is a wonderful sweeper! My mom has one of these and she would'nt use anything else. I however wouldn't purchase one of these just because I know how unhandy it is to set it up ect. The vacuum will clean anything but it will work you to death. lol This is the 3rd Rainbow I have bought in 25 years. The original one is in my Art Shop, the middle one is in my Fifth Wheel Camper and this one is in my home. I clean wall, ceilings, blinds, window sills, dust furniture, baseboards, floors, electronics. I do airwashes in y home and it always smells so clean. My husband and I used to smoke in our home but my friend, who was allergic to the smoke, used to stop by and want to know why she never smelled smoke or her allergies never acted up while she was there. I showed her my Rainbow and how it did airwashes. I cannot say enough good things about it. Maneuverability This one is much easier to pull behind you than the older ones. Ease of Maintenance Just keep the separator clean and you're good to go. Suction Performance When I clean my pillows and mattresses it really proves it's worth. Versatility As I mentioned earlier you can clean anything with it, even your dryer vent! Design This design hold your small tools for dusting and vacuuming fabrics so much easier than the old ones. Durability I have 3 and did have a problem one time with the original one but it was 20 years old when the motor went out. I carried it to the shop and they fixed it.

I have owned Rainbow vacuums for the last 20 years. I have had my original main housing serviced on several occassions, none of which were expensive or large repair issues. This vacuum is fantastic because not only does it remove regular household dirt, dust and pet hair from carpets and hard floors, it also cleans you carpets and hard floors with optional attachments. Living in Florida, my home is mostly tile flooring and the squeegie attachment makes cleaning my tile floors so easy. I simply scrub the floors with the brush side and a cleaning solution and that flip the attachment over and squeegie up the dirt and water. The water basin filters out dust and dust mites as you vacuum and no particles are re-released into your home. The attachments that come with the unit for dusting, baseboards and crevices and for upholstery, make keeping a clean home so much easier.

I have owned my Rainbow for several years and it has held up pretty well.  The vacuum ability is better than most others and you don't need bags as the tank is filled with water to capture the dust, etc., When I first got it, I found it was able to get at dirt and particles that had been deeper in my carpet that my old vacuum could not get so that was a very pleasant benefit.  I also bought the carpet cleaner/shampoo attachment but found that to be really cumbersome to use and now wish I had omitted getting that piece.  The cost is much higher than other vacuums but mne has been a real work horse so I do the math, the average cost per year is reasonable.  It is a bit heavy to lug up and down stairs if you have more than one level in your home and it is important to make sure you clean out and dry the canister after each use.  The power head is attachment has a low porfile and fits under beds and other furnature so cleaning under things is great.  A Rainbow will require a little more work in cleaning the canister after each use but the cleaning ability makes it worth the effort.

The Rainbow SE is the greatest vacuum made.  I have had mine for about 15 years and have never had any problems.  I vacuum at least 3 times a week, so it gets a workout.  I have allergies, so I needed a vacuum that would help alleviate the problem.  This vacuum not only gets dirt from the floor, but also pulls it from the air as well.  Although, it is a little more expensive, it is well worth the price.
