Rahmig's House of Fine Chocolates - Chicago, IL Review

This is one dangerous place to live close to - LOL!

Their selection of cookies is fabulous especially the kolachkis and frangiapans. I have recently tried the almond croissants and they are to die for.

If you are a torte person, they have a ton of them for around $2.50 each so, you could get a few to share. My friend's birthday was Sun and I got her 4 to try. She thought... the black forest torte and the dark chocolate torte were her favorites. The chocolate chip torte was third and the raspberry whipped cream came in a close 4th.

My favorite thing is the Strawberry Napoleon - can't beat it for under $4!

Their whole cakes seem a bit pricey but, if you order groceries from Peapod  they have a few House of Fine Chocolates cakes at a much better price and just as yummy!

The only reason I gave four stars is that they only accept cash... yes there are cash station machines abounding in the area but, for me to impulse shop well they better take credit cards - LOL!
