My firstborn son received the Radio Flyer Classic Tiny Trike for his birthday from his grandma. It was love at first sight! Grandma was kind enough to assemble it before presenting it, so I cannot speak to personal experience regarding eas of assembly, but she assured me that it was not a big deal. My son is 2 years old now, but very small for his age, and is able to ride this bike all over the house and up and down our driveway. He has two other bikes (all of the gifts) and this one is his favorite and mine! It has a low center of gravity and the height seems perfect for his little legs. It has a wide enough seat and center that it is stable when my little man is pushing it all over, and although it is strong enough for the outdoor it is also perfect for rolling up and down our hallway. My overall feeling is that this bike was an excellent gift, something he can enjoy for a few years, and of a high enough quality that his younger siblings will be able to enjoy it as well once they are old enough and big enough. A+ for this bike.

This Radio Flyer Tiny Trike is absolutely adorable!  From the retro look, to the colors and little bell, who could resist?!  As cute as it is, the size just does not seem to fit right with the age that can ride it.  It seems as soon as the child is able to sit on it without toppling over and actually move it with their feet, their legs are too long for it.  Maybe our kids just have not been the right age at the right season to use it.  We do have an 11 month old that likes to sit on it, but can not sit by himself or move it.  Maybe as he grows a bit older, he will be able to use it.  My daughter turned 2 this spring, and was already a bit too tall to use it for the summer, though she still sat on it and scooted around in it!  Otherwise, it does seem durable and has not tipped over yet.  It is small enough for storage as well.  It is also very light weight and easy to carry around when the child gets to tired for it.

My son has played with this almost daily for 2 years

Comments about Radio Flyer Classic Tiny Trike:

My son received this as a gift when he was 13 months old, and he immediately loved it.  He had no problems figuring out how to maneuver it around.  Here are some of the things that I love about this toy: - The front wheels are wider than the back wheels.  I think this makes it more stable.  Also, the back wheels never get stuck in tight places... if the front wheels get through a spot, the rest of the trike will also fit.  (I appreciate this even more, now that he rides a regular trike and sometimes gets the back wheels stuck when going around our kitchen island.)

- The trike doesn't light up, make noise, or take batteries.  Yes, there is a little bell, but my son almost never rings it.

- After 2 years of almost constant use, the trike is still sturdy and looks almost new.

My son received a regular trike when he turned two, but he still rides this little trike (along with his bigger trike) almost every day.  It has definitely been one of his favorite toys.

Radio Flyer Classic Tiny Trike is awesome.

Comments about Radio Flyer Classic Tiny Trike:

The Radio Flyer Classic Tiny Trike is an awesome ride on toy for young children. My daughter received this for Christmas from her grandparents and she loves it. She is two years old and can ride it well. The Radio Flyer Classic Tiny Trike is very sturdy and holds up well to rough children. It is very good quality for the price you pay for it. I would definately recommend it for young children, especially between the ages of one and three. My older children try to ride it and while I think that it could physically hold their weight, I try to keep them off of it just in case they would be to heavy. This is one of those classic toys that can be passed down from generation to generation and still be in one piece. This toy will be enjoyed for years and will not go out of style like a lot of newer toys that are character related. I would definately recommmend this toy to friends and family. I know my children love it.

Cute, but we don't use it much

Comments about Radio Flyer Classic Tiny Trike:

The Radio Flyer Tiny Trike is a really cute toy for little ones to ride on.  I love the look of it and I love that my one year old can sit and easily reach the floor.  I also love the classic look of the Rasio Flyer Tiny Trike.

Unfortunatley, the Radio Flyer Tiny Trike is not a toy that gets a lot of love in my house.  I bought it thinking that the kids would love riding it inside, but it seems that by the time they have enough coordination to really get it going they are ready for a different type of riding toy.

I have kept the Radio Flyer Tiny Trike even though it doesn't get used a lot because I think it is really cute and keep hoping that one of my kids will really love it in the future.

I did not pay a lot for my Radio Flyer Tiny Trike because I was able to get a really good deal on it.  I would not reccomend paying msrp for it because I do not think it will get enough use to justify the expense.

LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!!!

Comments about Radio Flyer Classic Tiny Trike:

if this isn't the cutest and safest little trike I don't know what is! I bought this for my early walker and he's adored it since day one! The bell keeps him verrrry busy! Honking at sisters in the middle of the hallway, puppies on sidewalks, you name it, it gets belled at (lol) I think he's tipped over maybe twice (once that I can remember) but it's not like an emergency tip over - it' COMPLETELY correctable! Gotta like that ! It's well made as we can appreciate from Radi Flyer. It's a classic we all love. Now I see where this was designed for 12-18 months, my little guy started walking at 9 months and I bought this when he was 10 months, now 13 months and with sisters jumping on and off and sneaking it outside....it's holding up pretty darn good! Even after a tantrum where it was pushed down 20 steps by my superstrong 3 year old! That's actually pretty amazing! :) Way to go RadioFlyer! You really can never go wrong with the classics!

Wonderful active inside toy

By

from Fort Huachuca, AZ

Comments about Radio Flyer Classic Tiny Trike:

This is just a complete win-win toy.  It is fabulous because it never gets old (my kids at least always love to ride on things and zoom around the house!).  It's the perfect size for little toddlers that can't reach bedals on a real tricycle.  It serves as a portable seat, active attention grabber, and offers hours and hours of imaginative fun!  I love the bright red color and simple design.  I love having a toy like this that is not too big to be inside so my kids can be active all winter.  Luckily we have tile floors/hardwood floors throughout the house so my kids can ride this all over, but I think it would still work just as well (just not as fast) on carpet.  I've never felt worried that this was a safety hazard, except for very little babies who are just starting to pull up on furniture (if they pull up on this, it will roll away and they can get an unpleasant bump).  Hands down a product I'd recommend!

The Radio Flyer TIny Trike is the perfect first trike!

By

from Toledo, OH

Comments about Radio Flyer Classic Tiny Trike:

I bought the tiny trike for a friends Little boy.  He was a 1 year old at the time and I wasn't sure when he would be able to use it.  Lets just he loved it then and he loves it now!  At first he just pushed it around when he was learning to walk and then once he knew how to sit he would sit on the little trike.  He is now 18 months and the trike is his favorite toy.  He speeds around on it everyday! I love the build of the bike and how durable it is.  I love how hard it is to tip it over, it is very easy for him to balance and sit while moving his legs all at the same time.  It gets used everyday and is still in great shape.  It is the perfect size and stores easy.  I'm very happy with my purchase and will be buying one for our new baby when it is old enough.  Oh and my friend told me her sons favorite part of the toy is the little bell. It is the perfect little trike, perfectfor any little kid.

great for the indoors

By

Comments about Radio Flyer Classic Tiny Trike:

What an awesome bike to use in the house! I was pleasantly surprised at how fun this tiny trike was to use in the house because I have a lot of house chores to take care of and I do not have the time to take my son outside to play. I love how this tiny trike is constructed to suit a toddler child and their small size. The wooden material that this is made out of is very strong and I have no doubt that this trike will be passed down to other kids for years. This trike does not come with any pedals, instead my son has to push himself along with his legs. I like that he has to push with his legs because it helps him to build up the muscles in his legs. There is a little bell on the trike that is so much fun for my son to play with and the good thing is that it is not too loud when he does use it. The handle bars on this trike are perfect for little kids. They are level with their stomachs and the kids do not have to strain in order to reach them. My son's bottom is also kept comfy with the soft seat.
