Radica 20 Questions Handheld Game —

I was first introduced to the Radica 20 Questions Handheld Game last Christmas. My brother brought it to a get together we were having on Christmas Eve. He is in his forties but was amazed by this little toy and so were we. My ten year old son ended up getting it as a gift from his Aunt so now we can play with it all the time!

About the 20 Question Handheld Game

The classic game of 20 Questions is now captured in a handheld portable electronic toy. This small spherical game has old arcade style sound effects, and a red light display. It requires and comes with two triple A batteries and is appropriate for ages 8 and up. This game was the winner of the 2006 T.O.T.Y. award. This game is available in red, blue or purple and sells for around $8-$12.

My Experience

This little handheld toy is so easy to play and so much fun. All you have to do is think of an item such as a shirt, box or a dog and then answer the questions that the ball asks by pressing buttons for yes, no, sometimes, or don't know. As soon as the game thinks it knows what the answer is, it guesses and I have to tell you, it has been right more times than it's been wrong. If it asks 20 questions and it still can't guess, you win. I was really impressed when it guessed that I was thinking of a meerkat. HOW? The questions that the game asks are general and broad. It drives me crazy because I can't figure out how it knows. It's a great little game to take on road trips or anywhere that there is time to kill. In our house, the adults love it as much as the kids. The only downside to this game is that because it is so small, it is very easy to misplace.

My Final Viewpoint

Radica 20 Questions Handheld Game is inexpensive, innovative and a lot of fun. Its small size makes it easy to take with you wherever you go. It makes a great gift and you don't have to break the bank to buy it. I am giving this little wonder ball a 4 star rating.

I have seen the kids in my church playing with these but wasn't quite sure what they were doing. Have you ever won? I want one! I'm marking this as a favorite. I got a gift card to Target so I think I will see if I can get one there. Thanks for the review! ~Gigi
