Has anyone noticed that if you use a bluetooth headset and are not talking, the background noise becomes unbearable for the peron on the other side?

Hmm, it depends.  My husband uses one and IF he has the radio on, for example, the radio will bug the heck out of me and he doesn't understand why since it's on low.  However if it's just people talking on the other side of the room, I probably won't notice.

Interesting, thanks.  My experience is that if I don't talk for 10 seconds, any noise in the background is picked up and magnified to deafening levels for the person on the other end.  Then, when I do talk, the sound volume corrects itself until I pause again.  So, this leaves me with having to put my phone on mute every time I take a breath... ;-)
