The Case

I haven't used this CD player in quite some time, not since I transitioned all of my music to my mp3 player.  I originally purchased this brand and model for very specific reasons - which it fulfilled - but mostly, it just ended up being a big disappointment.

The Good

It's a very inexpensive CD player.  It's also pretty compact, measuring almost exactly the circumference of a regular-sized CD, which is great for portability.  But the main reason I decided on the RP2502 player was that it had the wonderful feature of memory play.  If I stop listening to a CD at track 7, when I turn the player back on again, it starts up exactly where it left off instead of resetting to the first track.  Believe it or not, it really took some time to find a CD player with that particular feature!

The Bad

The RP2502 CD player touts it's ant-skip protection, but nearly everytime I listen to music with this thing, I feel like I'm jumping rope with a bunch of seven-year-old little girls.  It skips like mad!!!  Sooo annoying!  There are a few other problems I could mention, but really, whats the point?  If the dang CD player can't even play a CD smoothly, what else do you need to know?

The Verdict

One star!  I'd avoid the RP2502 CD player at all costs!

well in your case that could be true , but in other circumstances that does not apply to most people depending on the use or the purpose . in your case you shouldn't have wasted the time and money cause the use should of been worth a couple dollars more for a better buy and different brand.

I have a Sony and it gets TV channels etc. I haven't used it in so long I tried to sell in on eBay. No bites. I think with the iPods CDs may be going the way of the dinosaur. I actually think they all skip no matter what they say!!
