Clear sound, but the interface needs work.

I have the 2G version of this player, but other than that, it is exactly the same. I love the durability of this product. Also, the slim design makes it easy to carry with me wherever I want my music to be. The player does more than just music, though, it holds pictures, eBooks, videos... and even records audio! The menus are easy to navigate, and the display is clear and complete. The sound is pure, but it doesn't put out as much volume as you would expect it to.. sometimes I have to turn it up on maximum just to hear the song. I bought this for myself to use while I walked. I have had no problems at all. I do not like the earphones that come with it. They have a plastic coating that falls off and then you have these things poking in your ears.....That's the only con I could come up with. I don't know what I would do without this player. I certainly wouldn't walk far.........Another feature I like is the battery. You charge it by plugging it into your computer. So no worries about having to always buy batteries. I am getting one for my son for Christmas.
