I received this camcorder as a promotional offering from Marlboro.com in early to mid 2010. It takes "HQ Video" but I find the quality to only be average. It feels really flimsy and the quality video it takes, it is actually a marginally good camera. I have used miniDV cameras for many years and the quality of video from those is about the same as the video that comes from this camcorder... even set on "HQ Video" setting. One real plus of this camera is that you can tuck it in your pocket real easy and take it with you wherever you go. I took some okay footage with this camera of a school that burned down in Flint the weekend we were visiting. Of course, it took them 3 times to burn this thing down. But for really good stills, I chose to use my Canon PowerShot SX 110 IS which takes muuuuuuuch better shots at nine mega pixels and 10x zoom. i had recieved this camcorder as a gift and i absolutely love it. the pictures arent as clear as i wanted but i still use the camera more than recording videos. they use 4 AAA batteries which isnt bad as long as theyre rechargeable. easy and fun to use.

We received this camera/camcorder as a gift. We are now on our second one and it has not yet been a year nor has it been by choice. The first one froze up one day and never came back on so we were sent a second one and that one is not much better. The battery life is not long at all. The picture quality is not that great. I take pictures with the unit, download them to my computer, and then have them printed off. Every picture that I have taken with this camera comes out blurry unless I take them picture close up (not on zoom because that will come out blurry too) but you have to be close up on whatever you are taking a picture of. The video portion of this is ok but on playback the sound is very low and I recommend a memory card for it for longer filming. Overall I would not recommend or buy this product. It's easy to store and easy to use but the outcome of your pictures such come out bad.

The RCA - EZ1000 Series Small Wonder Camcorder is a great little camera for past times or just for having fun. The pixels aren't all that great if you are filming inside of your home or with low lighting. But if you have alot of lighting or are outside, it is a great camera. It has the capabilities to take still photos and videos. There isn't a CD disc that comes with the camera. You simply plug it in using the USB cord that is included, and it saves the program onto your computer so you can access it. It has a great little flip screen so you can see yourself while you are filming. This is great for if you are filming reviews or just simple messages for others. It also has the function button on the side for HQ or WQ in other words high quality or web quality. I mostly use the web quality because it seems to be better. The camera is light weight, and easy to carry and use. It does have sound effects that sound off when you hit buttons, that we didn't like. But if you go into the menu setting on the camera, you can turn them off. I do use this camera to upload videos to youtube,etc so it works pretty good and is worth the money.

I actually received the small wonder camcorder as a gift from a Marlboro promotion that I had participated in and I really do enjoy this wonderful item! It is small and extremely easy to use and handle. My entire household can easily use this camcorder. I really enjoy the flip out screen feature so you can take videos and pictures from either side of the camcorder and know that you have the precise shot. The portable pouch for the camcorder (which  was included) is extremely helpful when I want or need to take the camcorder on the road. Even if it is just to a school event, family get together or even just to throw in my purse. I love knowing that the screen is protected in this adorable pouch. It only takes four triple a batteries (which were included as well) and it also came with extremely easy instructions. The buttons are big and very easy to read. It would be impossible to push the wrong button. It's just the custest, easiest gift anyone could ever receive.

I received this RCA Small Wonder Camcorder as a gift from a rewards program but I am very happy with the quality of the product. I love the small compact size of it because it is easy to carry in my purse so I am most likely going to have it with me all the time.  It comes with a carry strap, soft velvet case, 4 AAA batteries, AV Cable, USB Cable, and instruction manual. It is very easy to set up right out of the box. The software is preloaded on the camcorder which makes it nice. All you have to do is connect the USB cable to the computer and to the camera (after loading the batteries) and the computer will prompt you to install the software. It took only a few minutes. The quality is good for web videos and you can connect it to your tv to view the videos also. I think it would make a great Christmas gift since it isn't too expensive. I checked various sites and it seems to average around 75 dollrs or less.

The RCA EZ1000 Series Small Wonder Camcorder is exactly that. A small wonder. I received this from a rewards program and I am definitely pleased that I picked this prized.  This is the first camcorder I have ever owned and I am immensly happy with it.  It comes with a usb cable, AV cable, carrying case (which is just a small black bag), 4 batteries, wrist strap, quick start quide, registration card and warranty leaflet.  Pros of this product are: little compact size, great video and picture quality, large size buttons, good sized lcd screen.  It runs well on regular batteries.  Cons of this camcorder is a small memory capacity.  You will definitely need a memory card to put into this product. That is another con...the memory card is kinda hard to get out of the camera.  You have to push it in and then pull it out.  If you have large hands it might be difficult to remove without using something to push on it.  Even with that, I would still recommend this camcorder.
