RCA - 50" diagonal RCA Scenium DLP HD Television — 

We purchased the RCA Scenium 3.5 years ago.  It is not working, again.  The light bulb burned out after a little over a year of use.  After spending 225 dollars on a new bulb the tv worked fine.  Now, after making some noise, the tv will not turn on.  From what I have read it could be one of the fans, or something worse.  I am debating between bringing the tv in for repair, or just throwing in the towel and buying an LCD.  If it is going to cost me another $1000 for repairing it I would rather take the money and buy something new......like a Sony, or Toshiba.  The RCA DLP has a nice picture when it works, but it is not worth the expense of trying to keep it running.  DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT UNLESS YOU HAVE A LOT OF MONEY FOR UP-KEEP!

I have an RCA Scenium DLP TV and I am trying to repair it. If you still have yours, I'll buy the light engine out of it. Reply to this post and I will get you some contact information.
