Most HelpfulI'll add another footnote to the top - bass ackwards...I know. I've only used this card a handful of times. Yet my checking account has been credited $1.29. It's not much...but hey, every little bit counts. The more you use the card, the more "cash back" is put into your checking account. ...

Most HelpfulThe QT rewards M/C is nice, but there are a couple of hassles you need to be made more aware of. If you use it at the pump, at least $100 will be frozen in your account for FOUR DAYS. There is a spending limit on it that is VERY strict so if you travel with it, this card may not be enough. And all their operators will do is inform you, they really cannot do anything for you. And then there are the fees... You HAVE to know your account balance because this card will still process through, but without telling you and will then eat you up in fees. It was NOT worth it to me and I cancelled mine....
read full review »Every card if you use debit witholds between $50.00 and $100.00 dollars right when you swipe the card at the pump not just the QT rewards card and it does it at every gas station. If you use debit it witholds that but it goes right back in the account within the day. If you use credit it only witholds $1.00 but it take a couple of days to go thru. Its a simple fix just get a pumpstart card swipe it at the pump then go inside to pay. If you pay on the inside it will never withold that money. You would never even know it witheld money unless you checked you accout while or right after you pumped...
read full review »I am considering the QT debit card. The savings on gas is tempting, and the rewards would be nice too even though it looks like it takes a while for it to add up. The 2 cents off per gallon is my main interest.
I have read conflicting reviews about the $100 or $75 or whatever amount of a hold that is supposedly put on your checking account. Can anyone give me a clear answer to this, possibly with proof? (such as a link that explains this in QT's FAQ's or something like that)
Thanks!
QT Reward Card Stinks!!!! When disputing a charge with Chase, it caused an NSF with QT since that is the card that was used. QT never notified me of the "NSF" as they call it, so I called to ask about the charge and they said it will be 2 weeks before ANYONE can tell me about the transaction. What a dude - I love QT stores, but they do not know how to do a rewards program.
One warning about the QT rewards card. Ensure that the money is in your checking account. It can take up to five days before the transaction appears in your checking account. The bank will pay it even if there is insuffient funds. You will be socked with overdraft fees if there is not enough money in your account. It almost acts like a check.
