I tested the waters and spoke over time with two other mortgage companies as well as Quicken when I refinanced my home. Only Quicken provided fast and accurate answers to my questions, listened and addressed my priorities, and walked me through the process with patience and care. I went from a 5.75 rate to a 3.99. Needless to say, I was thrilled. I recommend Quicken and give them my highest marks. I received a gift card for writing this review, regardless of whether I had a positive or negative experience.

I would like to say that I had an amazing experience with quicken loans. There are many people that I dealt with and every one of them are full of expertise and they are super nice. I never left my ownhometo do this, faxed all my necessary documents from my fax machine. In the past other "loan" people advised me to not pay my mortgage in order to get a new loan and the first question I asked was do you want me to not pay my loan and the answer was absolutley NO! Then I proceeded with my re-fi. I have recommended them to neighbors and anyone needing a re-fi that is in my situation, upside down!!! Thank you QUICKEN LOANS you saved my family $300 a month.

I did a refinance with them. From start to finish, it took only a little over a month - including delays caused by the Christmas and New Years holidays. The appraiser that they sent was very professional and presented himself very well. The Quicken Loans team was also extremely helpful and professional. The only downside was the attorney that was 50 minutes late for the closing and not very well dressed. I have reported this to the loan team and they were grateful to get the information and passed it on up the line.

I decided to give Quicken Loans a try after I got a bit of the run around with USAA. I had read that Quicken was the best rated for customer service and I think that rating is very accurate. From the start process to closing on my first new home was less than 30 days. Also, all of the Quicken members were very professional and freindly. They kept me well informed and updated throughout the process. I even received a hand written thank you note from my advisor after I moved into my new house. I highly recommend Quicken Loans to anyone buying a house. I have a few friends who are getting ready to do the same and I have already referred them to Quicken Loans.

I have several friends that are in the real-estate business and I heard this astounding factoid from them. Approximately 35% of all "ratified contracts" do not go to closing because the borrower gives up after being frustrated because of all of the new federal requirements to finalize a mortgage loan. You go through the "initial qualifying" and then go look for a house, only to be at the closing table and the "bank" is still asking for "clarification".

We realize that Francesco and Megan were not the proctoscope perpetrators (P Squared) but they had to put up with my irritation for what I thought was intrusive bank questions.

So go to Quicken Loans and make sure you ask for Francesco, and Megan, they will do their utmost to get you through the "closing".

Is the company you want to use if you are looking for a honest company that will allow you to have a very personal relationship with a loan officer and always be able to ask questions and receive meaningful plain English answers or talk to that person on the phone instead of the exclusive access to that person via email or voice mail. You will never get lost in any step along the way of financing even until after closing. The best experience I ever had. They deliver more that what they promise.

Refinancing our mortgage was a positive experience and loan broker David Corbeill was thorough, efficient and pleasant throughout the very quick process.  The ability to complete the paperwork on line and close the loan at home made the process the easiest we have ever experienced. The loan closed on time and overall it was a very positive relationship.

The only negatives were a bit of conflicting information from a different service representative (which was later cleared up) and since the loan was sold (twice) before the first payment, we have nothing except an address to send the first payment (no coupon booklet and little info.)

PS: Please change the article -"an" moderate investor to "a" moderate investor - little things tell a lot!!!

Best Move I Could Have Made

I was a bit leary of using an online company to secure a mortgage loan but I was referred to QuickenLoans by my father who had used it several months earlier and had a good experience. I figured I had nothing to lose with the rates so low right now and I was looking to drop from a 25 year loan to a 15 year loan. Now that it's all said and done, there are three things you should know if you are considering using QuickenLoans. First, the process is very fast. Go for it -- 100%! For our last mortgage, we used a family member assuming that the process would be easier if we had family watching out for us. That experience wasn't bad, but compared to the Quicken Loan process, it just doesn't even compare to the fairness (of fees), thorough explanations we were provided, the ease and speed of completing the loan. It was so nice to be able to do most of the work through the internet and to always be able to check the status of our loan and what, if anything, Quicken was waiting on from us. I just had the easiest home refinance EVER. All of the Quicken Loan representatives were very friendly. The rates were very competitive. Everything was done around my schedule and the closing was set up at my home. I would highly recommend Quicken Loans for all of your home financing needs

The loan process started out very nicely--my loan officer was great and stayed in touch with me. As time went on, though, several other members of the Quicken Loans team got involved, and most of the time it seemed as if none of them knew what the other had discussed with me. I found that very frustrating. While I must admit that part of the problem was my frustration with a process that I am not familiar with (I have only financed or re-financed a mortgage loan a few times in my life), as well as a tricky tax situation--taxes were due around the same time we were to close on the loan. The QL team could have helped me through this by all being on the same page at the same time...

My representative, Shayna Levin, was absolutely fantastic!!!

Quicken loans is a phenomenal company.  I purchased my first home with them about two years ago.  When it came time to buy a bigger home for my growing company, I of course went back.  They are willing to help me at any time.  Their representatives are very considerate and pleasant to work with.  They kept me updated the entire time and made sure to communicate all information.  Even though the loan was quickly bought out, Quicken is still there to deal with any issues I may have and are more than happy to help me out.  I recommend them to everyone I know purchasing a home.  I recommend you use them too!

After contacting Quicken Loans, I checked them out through the Better Business Bureau. They had an A+ score, so I proceeded with the process to refinance. I was Amazed at how fast the process was. Drew Glomski was the agent that started the loan process. He answered our questions (there were a lot of questions) and gave us quality service. He returned phone calls and email answers promptly! Quicken Loans is a team that works together for your benefit. When it was time to close, which was less than 30 days from first contact, they sent the attorney to our home! I will contact them with future loan processing needs!  Oh, by the way, I am now using the extra money we are saving on our mortgage to pay towards becoming debt free!

Quicken loans was fast, friendly, affordable and worked hard to make our refinance happen.  As a professional in the lending business I have been apprehensive for some time about refinancing my loan.  To be honest, I did not want the hassle of the paper work.  But Ryan Tapper and the professionals at Quicken loans worked with me and my schedule.  I was able to refinance my home mortgage and never leave my office.  It was a great experience and I would recommend them to anyone!  While I have to include the following statement, I will say that I would recommend them regardless of receiveing a gift card.
