This mask was just okay for me. I bought it because it was cheap and I thought I would see if it would do anything for my skin. It did make my skin feel refreshed and alive but it did not look any better. I used it for a few months too on a regular basis and my dull skin still looked dull and my acne did not really improve either. I also felt that this mask dried my skin out a little too much. It has a pretty good scent and it does a good job at making your skin feel fresh, it just did not help the appearance of my skin like I hoped it would. Effectiveness After rinsing this mask off my skin felt refreshed and like it had woke up. Unfortunately that is all it did. My skin did not really look any different and it dried it out a little too much. Ease of Application Rub it on your skin, let it dry, and rinse off, easy as that. Scent My face smelled like a salad! Seriously it smells like oil, thankfully that scent did not stay on my face after I rinsed it off.

This is another great facial mask from Helene: Queen Helene Avocado & Grapefruit Mask. This company makes the best products at an affordable price. The Avocado & Grapefruit Mask is definitely nutritious for skin because after using it my face felt smoother. You know when a product is horrible on your face, and your face knows it too when it gets burnt. This product doesn't do that. It also is great because it shrinks pores and either helps prevent blackheads or takes care of them as the newly form. Effectiveness This is the perfect mask for acne prone skin. If you regularly have acne and use this mask on a regular basis, you will not keep acne. It may take time to clear your skin depending on the severity of your acne, but the bottom line is if you use it you will not have acne. I still get a pimple here and there, but my face is no longer broken out because of this product. Ease of Application This is very easy to use. Apply it to a dry face, let it dry and peel off the mask. You will also peel away dirt, oil, blackheads and dead skin. Your face will tingle as the product dries, but that's because it's cleaning your skin and sucking out all the impurities. Once you use this your skin will be softer, smoother, and eventually clearer. Scent This has a nice scent. In fact out of all the Helene masks this one has to be my favorite scent.

Now this product is definitely a permanent part of my beauty regime. I often switch up from time to time, depending on the seasons. I love the Queen Helene line of products and what they do for the skin, as such an affordable price. I love the consistency of this product, but I also love how it feels on my skin after application. It is truly a wonderful experience. I use this peel approximately 2-3 times per week, often depending on the type of work week I will have, as everyone needs a little pampering. Effectiveness This is another Queen Helene product that is good for getting rid of oily skin and controlling acne breakouts Ease of Application Very easy to apply, as it has a smooth consistency that makes it easier to apply to the skin. I have noticed that it is somewhat easier to apply if the skin is damp, so don't skip that step. Scent Lightly scented, not overbearing. It does not smell of avocado, but does smell faintly of grapefruit. I like it a lot!

I have tried Queen Helene products before in the past and have been happy with the results I have seen when using the products. A little over 2 months ago I decided to give this particular product a try since it contains avocado and grapefruit. I use this product once a week on my skin and it makes my skin feel so smooth and clean. I was worried since this product is not specified as being for sensitive skin, I thought I would maybe encounter skin irritation. This did not happen at all since using this product. I have seen far less black heads come up on my face and my skin is far less oily. When I apply this product to my face I use one thin layer of the mask on my face. I leave the product on my face for 15 mins or so, I take a warm wash cloth and wipe the product off my face. I rinse my face with cool water to make sure no residue is left behind in my skin. Great product that helps with oil control, black heads and acne.

I received this product as a gift from my mom. I didn't know much about it except for the fact that my grandma used it religiously. I made a silent pact with myself, promising to take better care of my skin. This would be the start. The first time I used this product was when I was stuck in the hospital after having a baby. I got in the shower, rubbed some of the mask in my already wet hands, and went about my business. When I got out, my face felt very soft, smooth, and moisturized. Fast forward a couple of days. When I got home, I actually took the time to read the back of the product. It said to apply to an already cleansed face. So I washed my face with soap, patted it dry, dried my hands, and then put some of the mask in my hands, then on my face. Now the back of the tube said to expect a bit of tingling. I like tingling. Well what I got was far worse! It felt like I was in H-E-double hockey sticks! My goodness, I couldn't rinse my face off quick enough. It burned badly. What I learned from using this product is this...NEVER put it on dry. Mix it with a bit of water first if you don't want your face to feel like it was put into a pot of boiling water. Other than that bit, the product did a little more than I expected it to. I've been a long time sufferer of blackheads. Washing my face with regular soap and water did not take them away. This mask took them all away. I only expected a smooth face. What I ended up with was a smooth, blackhead free, and acne free face. It's good in the sense that it works, but I don't know if I will purchase it again due to the burning. It makes me wonder what kind of chemicals are in there.

Firstly, I do not have sensitive skin. But, after applying this mask as directed, it started to burn after 30seconds to a minute. It says tingling is ok, but this is NOT tingling. It BURNS! There is no way I could leave this mask on for as long as it recommends. Effectiveness It does take away a lot of the oil on my face. That part, I liked. Ease of Application Apply with fingers. Scent smells good.
