I have had a very good experience with my Quaker parrot. My children gave him to me for my 50th birthday and he started talking 3 days later. He spends all day out of his cage and when he gets ready to sleep he will get in his cage amd say mite-mite love you mom.The only time he gets load is when we... read full review »

A quaker or monk parakeet can be a great pet for the dedicated owner. They are rambunctious and require a lot of time. They are not for everybody! They can be loud, very loud. Also, they tend to be territorial, therefore their cage should be rearranged at least every 2 weeks or so. They should be on...
