As a frequent business traveler, Qantas has found ways to truly meet my needs. I usually only fly Qantas to Australia or New Zealand, but when I do I am always left happy. The on board experience is great, service professional, and flights are rarely delayed. Economy class is relatively similar to most international economy classes, but business and first class are superior to North American and European carriers. In the premium cabins, the food and the service are stellar! In economy, the service is great as well.

I was in the coach section and since this was an overnight flight I believe they gave you a pillow, blanket, socks and toothbrush/toothpaste. Being a huge film and music fan, I couldn't believe their extensive entertainment library. They had hundreds of movies at your fingertip, as well as music albums. Not just any old stuff but relevant new films and music. The flight was smooth and the food given to us was actually pretty good as far as airline food goes. Great hostess as well. They are exceptional, but only if traveling internationally and on longer flights. If visiting Australia, and you don't want to stop several times and switch planes, and go through several layovers, this is the airline to travel with. Not the most comfortable or largest carriers, but the food is decent, friendly staff and attendants, no layovers,and a rather pleasant trip if flying and you want to go nonstop. Service The flight attendants are friendly, their agents at the gates are friendly, and they are well informed. We had a few issues with flight delays and they were able to assist us to get to a flight that was scheduled prior to ours. Further, they are familiar with the area, and when arriving in Australia, they helped point us in the right direction to attractions we wanted to visit. In-Flight Accommodations Nothing spectacular on this front. They serve one meal on a 14 hour flight, which was pretty decent. They do offer drink service as well, and provide a snack during the flight. Other than this, wi fi isn't included, and seats are a bit smaller than other carrier planes.

A major airline here offered less expensive tickets to Sydney but the short flight tickets were a lot less money on QUANTAS so we flew from Sydney to Brisbane on this airline and found it to be okay. It was a early afternoon flight and extremely crowded. We were given seats at the back of the plane and I do mean back. They were hot and crowded and no leg room. On the way home we were given seats in the middle and did much better. Service The attendants could not serve drinks right away and being at the back meant that we did not get our drinks until they started gathering them back up for the landing.Check in on the way home was a r=real challenge. It seems that when you travel international you are allowed more luggage and we were going to be flying international again once we got to Sydney but they were going to charge us huge fees for baggage and weight. They finally called over a supervisor that looked over our tickets and they keyed in something that meant we did not have to pay penalties In-Flight Accommodations I don't know what they offer on overseas flights for food and beverages. I can just tell you that they offer the same fare that the other airlines do. Still a good idea to eat before you head to the airport, otherwise it's going to be costly.

I haven't flown with Qantas Airways for years, but it was the first flight airline I had taken to my first trip outside of Australia to Greece at the age of fourteen. From what I recall it was fun and scary as it was my first air plane trip and the flight attendants on the Qantas Airways were very efficient, professional and friendly. The food served was tasty; particularly the dinner choices and we were served many different meals like hot chocolate, ice creams and fruit. Drink service was very good as the flight attendants would always be going up and down the aisles routinely and the entertainment on the plane was awesome since it would always be a movie airing in the cinema's which makes sense since you pay a lot of money for your ticket you might as well get a cinema movie experience out of it. The Qantas plane had departed and arrived on time at both destinations and overall I personally had a good experience with Qantas and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this flight airline to anyone you wishes to fly for their next family holiday.

I would recommend Qantas Airlines for some of those long haul international flights that many travelers would prefer over having two or three layovers. Service The customer service representatives I encountered while flying with Qantas Airlines have been some of the best in the airline industry. Not only have there been minimal on hold wait times, but the customer service representatives that I have come across at the airport (at check-in and at the gate) have been pleasant and helpful. In addition, Qantas Airlines offers service between hundreds of some of the largest international airports. In-Flight Accommodations The in-flight accommodations offered to passengers traveling with Qantas Airlines are the average accommodations one would expect with a major international airline carrier today. The food and beverage selections that were offered to the passengers were slightly underwhelming.

Of all the airlines that provide domestic flights around Australia, Qantas is clearly the best choice. With destinations all over the country and many now leaving our golden shores, the little extra you pay is well worth the expense. We have 2 minors we fly back and forth between Adelaide and Melbourne and we wouldn't put them on any other airline. We know that when we put them on a Qantas plane, they won't need to pay for any extras, such as food, drinks or entertainment and that they are always well looked after. For a parent knowing your child is flying alone is a great concern and having done this journey dozens of times now, the kids look forward to what was once a very scary experience. After years of experience flying myself and my family all over the country, I can't fault the service offered by Qantas either on the ground or in the air. There was one occasion when I needed to contact customer service due to a mistake I had made during on online booking. The staff were fantastic and waived any fee it would usually cost to alter the booking. They followed it up with an email instantly so I confirm the details were correct while I was still on the phone. For anyone thinking they can't afford to fly Qantas; there are plenty of specials available for the budget conscious and even free flights to claim through their flybys program.

I absolutely love Qantas. The only bad thing is the prices are pretty expensive to fly. The food is usually good. It is airplane food so I am not really expecting a five course meal. I love Qantas because they leave snacks out on international flights. So in the middle of the night when i wake up, I do not want to bother the flight attendants so I just get up and get my own food. The toilets are always kept clean to. They used to give toothbrushes and toothpaste which also came in handy after those long flights, but i am not sure if they have them anymore. Another thing that is great about Qantas is the in-flight entertainment. Each person has their own individual television. There is a huge selection of movies, television series, radio, kids shows and even games to play. it definitely helps for the really long flights. I also love the friendly staff who are always willing to do almost anything to make everyone happy.
