Pyrex Glass 2-Cup Measuring Cup -Red- Review

I have owned my Pyrex Glass 2-Cup Measuring Cup -Red- for many years.  I have bought others in between and I will tell you this ... those others have already bit the dust but my Pyrex glass one just keeps on going. I am not quite sure how much I paid for it way back when but I do know it is being sold today all over for around $4.99.  Quite inexpensive for such a quality product in my opinion. 

The Measuring Cup

According to the manufacturer, this Pyrex measuring cup features a heavy-duty tempered glass construction, so you get long-lasting use, a nonporous surface that won't absorb food stains, odors, or flavors.  The cup has large, bold labeling that has both standard and metric measurements for easy, accurate results.  In addition, a comfortable handle for a safe grip.  Plus, a handy, drip-free spout to make pouring easy.  And the most convenient part?  It's microwave, oven, dishwasher and freezer safe to make kitchen prep work even easier. 

My Experience 

My Pyrex glass measuring cup is extremely durable.  I have used it literally thousands of times in the years that I have owned it and it has held up through being dropped, dinged and stuffed in with heavy pans.  The durability is absolutely amazing.  After all I have put it through, mine doesn't even have a chip on it.

Being a 2-cup measuring cup makes it very convenient to follow all of my recipe directions correctly in order to end up with a delicious meal.  I am not the best of cooks so I need all the help I can get! 

My Final Viewpoint     

When I was a little girl, my mother owned a Pyrex glass measuring cup and here we are many years later and I own one exactly like it.  The fact that the exact same product is still being sold after so many years tells you that it is a quality product that is still in demand.  I recommend this measuring cup and am giving it a 5 star rating because it is by far the most durable glass measuring cup out there.
