With all the kitchen clutter out there, this is one item you absolutely need.  You will use it forever, it will outlast almost everything else in your house.  No silly colors, no of the moment materials, this cup is simple, useful and classic.  It withstands heat, dishwashers, kids, clumsy spouses.  You can easily see the contents and it can be used for almost anything.  Cons?  None.
