Recently I was given a 13x9" Pyrex covered baking dish and am so impressed with the results it's given me!
For baking evenly, glass is the better optional - less browning at the edges, no burnt corners, no under-cooked center like what you receive from metal baking pans. This pan evenly distributes heat, cooking your bars, brownies, cakes, and casseroles to perfection. My favorite feature, besides Pyrex being a brand you can trust: the snap-tight lid.
Now I can bake using glass dishes, and still be able to transport the goodies in the same container that I made them in.
