Most HelpfulMy family first began receiving Puritan's Pride catalogs over a decade ago. Then, I lived with my dad. His first catalog was addressed to "The Rev. Frank J. Rudmann". Which cracked us all up, since my dad was by NO means a minister!
Aside from the funny salutation and slightly cheesy, hyperactive copy...

Most HelpfulPuritan's Pride is an online retailer selling all of your vitamin and supplement needs. They also sell a variety of generic over-the-counter medicines, such as pain relievers and allergy medicine.
Puritan's Pride has very good prices on a number of their items, and they offer buy 1, get 2 free and buy 2, get 3 free. They don't have the best prices on everything, though. I take a multivitamin, fish oil pills, cinnamon, and vitamin D. I buy the cinnamon and the vitamin D from Puritan's Pride, but I have found better prices locally on the multivitamins and the fish oil.
Generally, I have found...
read full review »Puritan's Pride has the very best prices on herbal supplements available . they always have great promos such as buy 1 get 2 free -I love the Echinacea with goldenseal root combo. I started taking this after I found out that I have gallstones I thought it might help and it did . I take 3 in the morning and have not had an attack for a very long time- it also keeps me free from colds and flu I have not had a cold in 3 years .
I also am using the Puritan's Pride Black Cohosh standardized extract gel-caps for the pre-menopausal hot flashes .
I was using the Remifemin but its very pricey and I found...
read full review »I have been purchasing various supplements from Puritan's Pride for a long time. Obviously I have been more than satisfied with the products or I would have stopped using the company.
There are great specials- buy 3, get 2 and others like that. I get a year's worth of my necessary vitamins at a time, then I don't have to think about them for a long time.
My order comes quickly, but sometimes when I think I've ordered a large quantity to come in 1 bottle, it turns out to be several bottles of a smaller quantity. I am environmentally conscious so I like to recycle as much as possible.
I started losing weight and eating healthy and taking vitamins about 6 months ago. I was buying my vitamins at the Vitamin Shoppe stores until I discovered Puritan's Pride. I went to their website and discovered they have all the vitamins available that I take including your option of liquid and tablets/capsules, etc. This was very exciting to me as some of my vitamins I like to take in liquid form.
The prices are unbelievable! You can get vitamins for about 1/3 of the price you would pay at vitamin stores, drug stores, Target, Wal-mart, etc. I ordered online and my order arrived...
read full review »I clicked a sales priced vitamin and see when I got my confirmation number , they charged me full price!! I wrote them back within 3 min and maybe 7 emails to customer service Puritan Pride Vitamins since Sun May 4 2008. Today is Tues the 6th of May. They have not written back but did write to say they were shipping the vitamins. I had asked them to cancel it and wanted it if I got the sales price and I thought I was getting. They are taking my money and will not answer me back.

I agree with the other reviewers about the pros of ordering from Puritan Pride, but would like to add a couple more. Being manufactured here in the US in their own facility, I worry less about unwholesome ingredients being in them. Maybe this will prove to be a plus in lew of the recalls happening on other products from other countries due to dangerous ingredients being found in them. Another point is that we can get a better price buying from the manufacturer.
On 10/4 I placed an online order with Puritan's Pride. On 10/6 I saw that the purchase amount of $91.92 from Puritan's Pride showed up as a deduction from my checking account.
On 10/9 I received an email from Puritan's Pride stating that my order had been canceled and that my credit card information had been deleted. The email also contained a coupon for $5 Off to use when I reordered. The coupon had an expiration date of 10/8.
I pulled up my bank account online and saw a new (second) charge of $91.92 from Puritan's Pride in the pending column.
I called Puritan's Pride customer service and spoke to...
Puritan's Pride has good quality products at the best prices I've ever seen. Once in a while they have the buy 1 get 2 free or buy 2 get 4 free deal. This is, of course, my favorite. This is when I really stock up. I take a multi, B-12, Chromium Picolinate, Fish Oil and Vitamin C on a daily basis and Puritan's Pride is the only place I shop for these items. If you take vitamins and/or supplements I would highly recommend checking out there website.
When I can't get the vitamins and supplements I want from New Chapter Organics, Puritan's Pride is the first place I buy from. Although not organic, the quality is good and the price can't be beaten. Their customer service is really good and an order always arrives within two days of being placed.
I have been a loyal customer of Puritans Pride products for 38 years. Where else can you get good quality vitamins and supplements at such a low price? They stand by their products and I have never had anything bad from them. If you want a bang for your buck and want good quality products..order from them.
Puritans Pride has great sales. Look for up to 70% off sales and Buy 1 Get 1 deals. They have a flat shipping fee, so look to stock up when you buy. The sales change monthly. Order online anytime, check labeling details for quality and strength of the vitamins or herbs you want.
