Puritan's Pride Vitamins and Minerals —
This is to warn people not to order products from Puritan's Pride Online! This company doesn't value it's customers at all. I ordered (3) 16oz jars of Coconut Oil on 12/20/08. Puritan's emailed me with notice of shipping as of 12/23/08. As of this writing (1/6/09) I have still not received the goods. This company charges shipping rates high enough to use USPS Priority Mail or UPS Ground. They instead use a "Freight Forwarder" at much lower rates and pocket the difference! After discovering this I immediately placed a new order for a 1 gal. tub of Coconut Oil with a different New York based company on 1/1/09, I paid the same shipping rate of ($4.95) and received the latter order via UPS today (1/6/09). When a company such as Puritan's Pride uses one of these Freight Forwarding Companies the shipment is pooled with many other shipments from several other companies and it may sit on a dock somewhere until the Forwarding Co. amasses a large enough shipment to finally process and ship. If you are unfortunate enough to get "pooled" in this way, your order may sit for up to 2 weeks. Avoid doing business with any company that ships via this method! Avoid doing business with Puritan's Pride Online!!Last edited on Feb 23, 2009
