My dogs like to eat this food, but they have never lost any weight after more than 6 months eating Purina O.M. dry food. The suggested measured amount of food according to dog's weight given on the bag is WRONG. I was giving them the suggested amount to begin with, but they actually GAINED weight. Since then I've cut back to much less the recommended amount, but still they don't lose any weight. I don't think Purina O.M. knows as much about "Overweight Management" in dogs as they know how to profit. It's a damn shame this can only be purchased through your veterinarian (expensive), yet it doesn't do what it's supposed to do. I'm changing their diet as soon as I can find something else that they like and will actually help them.
