My cat has ate Purina Cat Chow dry cat food on many different occasions. I used to always let her eat the same food all the time but later decided to switch it up some so she has a variety. Purina Cat Chow is a food that I always go back to. My cat really seems to enjoy this food. She always runs to eat it when I pour it into her food bowl. The pieces are small enough for her mouth, which I love because she has no problem eating them at all. When she eats this food she noticeably has a lot of energy, so it is good for her. I like this cat food for her not only because she enjoys it and it makes her have energy, but also because it is affordable. It is awesome to have a high quality cat food that does not hurt my budget. I have also been able to find it in most of the stores I shop in. I would definitely recommend this cat food to other cat owners because it is a good diet for them and it is affordable.

I have been buying several products of Purina for my pets and the brand is very reliable and manufactures products that are not only healthy but tasty as well. I recently purchased a packet of Purina Cat Chow Dry for my pet last week and it was an online purchase. The delivery was made within a week and I just need to pour a small amount of the product in a bowl and my cat eats the food without any fuss and does not throw a lot of the food but eats the entire food in minutes. My cat has a very poor diet and barely eats once a day and drink milk twice but this product has come to me as a relief and my pet just loves it. The product is very healthy for cats as the ingredients include corn which contains the essential nutrients like carbs which help to boost energy and the necessary fatty acids, soybean meal, ground wheat, Vitamin E supplement, Vitamin A supplement, Vitamin B-12 supplement and many more products which help to make the pets healthy and it is very useful if the pet has a sensitive stomach.

I have been feeding Purina to my cat for years, and she loves the taste of the Purina Complete cat chow. But I have stopped feeding this to my cat because it contains a lot of filler ingredients and by products in it. It has a lot of wheat, corn, soy, and weird animal by product that no one should eat. All three of those first ingredients are terrible for animals/cause a lot of allergies and problems. I have noticed, and I don't know if it's just a coincidence, that even though my cat was not getting sick, her dandruff was getting terrible and out of control, her coat didn't look good, and she was having a huge amount of hair balls every month even though I brush her daily. She was having some weird digestive problems where she would throw up mass amounts of hair. Something in this obviously upset her stomach, so I stopped feeding her this, and she stopped throwing up/coughing up huge amounts of hair balls. Although my cat will eat this food and doesn't dislike it, I have since switched to the Purina Naturals. While it isn't completely natural as it claims, it has better ingredients then the Complete formula done, and less filler and no weird by products of animals in it. And it doesn't do weird things to her digestive system. I do wish one day that Purina would try and make pet foods with more real natural ingredients. I would pay more money for a pet food that is actually healthy for my cat. Quality of Ingredients I wish the Purina Cat Chow Complete had real natural ingredients in it, instead of all these by products and fillers. My cat doesn't have any allergies or get sick from any foods, but I love her and I want her to have the best foods and ingredients possible. The first ingredient of the Complete Cat Chow is poultry by product. I wish they would use regular chicken instead of the over processed left overs that people can't/won't eat. If I wouldn't eat that meat why should my cat? Also it has corn meal, an corn gluten in it. Any type of corns aren't supposed to be good for cats or dogs. Soy isn't good for animals either, and soy flour meal is in there as well. Another ingredient that kind of makes me cringe is the animal digest. They don't explain what it really is, and what parts of the animal they are putting in the food. From what I know is animal digest is waste products from meat/slaughter houses, possibly even road kill or euthanized animals that is turn into some sort of broth and then distributed into pet foods... I switched to the Purina Naturals instead because it doesn't contain the digest or any weird by products. It still contains fillers but not as much. I still wish cat foods labeled natural would be more natural. Flavor Selection There is only one flavor of the Purina Complete Cat Chow, but they also have other varieties like the indoor, kitten chow, naturals, and healthy weight formulas.

This cat food is better than most other brands I have tried. I must say as soon as I brought home the food, the cat completely ignored his old food and dug into this new bag. He has never done that, which is why I decided to definitely give credit where its due. He is an indoor cat and we saw his activity and health level just increase significantly with Purina. He has no interest in his older brand of food now, which before he ate everyday. My cat is much happier and seems like he has much more energy these days. Quality of Ingredients I would definitely say that this brand has high quality ingredients. My cat seems to have so much more energy. We bought this cat food as we were running low on his old food and the cat just dug right into this new bag of food. His bowl was still full from the old brand. Flavor Selection My cat really liked this flavor. He runs right toward the bowl every time we fill it up and is finished with it in no time.

My cats really seem to enjoy this cat food. The colors of it are vibrant which I think is mostly for my pleasure because I highly doubt the cats really care. The smell on this to me is just not pleasant but it smells about like what you expect cat food to smell like. When I open the bag on this and get ready to pour, the cats always come running ready to eat. One thing I can say about this food is it seems to get "stale" or bad pretty quickly. If you have a feeder that dispenses down as your cats eat, you may not be able to put a lot of this product in it. I notice that after the first day the cats don't seem very interested in it and after two days the cats just simply won't eat it so I'm guessing it goes stale because as soon as I put out fresh food they are ready to eat more and happy to do so. I recommend pouring the food down into a bucket or something that is resealable and not leaving it in the original bag also. My cats are stealthy and always find a way to get into the bag if I don't put it in another container. also, a resealable container keeps the food fresh longer. I think my cats will eat just about anything but I've used this on and off throughout the years depending on what is more economical for my household and I've never noticed any significant changes in my cats appetite, weight, or overall health and appearance. They seem to be great just eating this now and again when it's all we can afford. I would love a more protein rich formula though. Quality of Ingredients It doesn't have as much Taurine in it as I would like. I would love to be able to feed my cats a higher protein formula and a product with less plant products or plant byproduct in it. Flavor Selection There are several varieties of this available. I've noticed my animals seem to prefer chicken flavors more so than others but to me it all smells the same.

This product provides a definite bargain without compromising on quality. I've tried bargain brands and the quality does not compare. This product is an even more exceptional bargain when I am able to find coupons, which I am often successful with finding coupons for this product. Purina Cat Chow has a variety of flavors. This is a brand my cats will select over other brands. If I attempt to switch brands the cats are more reluctant to eat the other brands but will not hesitate when I offer them Purina Cat Chow. I really don't think my cats would consider choosing a higher end brand over Purina Cat Chow. Flavor Selection I have multiple cats and I can tell you all my cats love each variety Purina has to offer. Their favorite is the Seafood flavor.

I have four cats ranging from 15 years old to 6 months old, so sometimes it is hard to please them all. I try different products but have always came back to purina. They love all the purina products, and i love the price.I have paid a lot for what i thought was a "better" brand of cat food, but i always come back to purina, I think they ARE the better brand. Quality of Ingredients I find that a lot of cat foods out there have a great deal of fillers. Purina does not. I have always thought they were a high quality product, using the best ingreadents. Because of some things they put in cat food it can upset their tummys , but ive never had that problem when i feed them purina products. Flavor Selection They have a few good flavors. I hope they come out with more though. My cats do get kinda tired of eating the same taste every day , just as we do. A good flavor would be " people food" flavor lol . But i do have to say they really never tire of the tuna flavor. Tuna and cheese flavor would be great, they love anything cheese flavored.
