Purex Fabric Softener Review

Downey has always been my favorite fabric softener because it smelled good.  I liked the way my house smelled while I was doing laundry, and the clothes were soft when they were done; however, in today's economy, I can't waste money on expensive fabric softeners.  I tried Purex because it was on sale, and I had coupons.  My attitude has now changed about fabric softener.  Although the fragrance is not nearly as long-lasting as Downey, Purex softens my clothes just as well and eliminates static electricity.  After changing my mind about my choice of fabric softener, it occurred to me that I've always found people who smell like softener to be a little over-powering.  Do I really want to smell like fabric softener?  Do I really want my perfume to have to compete with fabric softener?  Do I really want my husband and sons to smell like a bouquet of wildflowers in Spring?  Purex gives me the results I'm looking for and doesn't leave a build-up on our laundry.  I choose Purex!
