Pureology Hydrate System Duo Reviews

When it comes to hair care products, I'm a junkie.  However, 2 years ago my hair stylist introduced me to Pureology and I refuse to use anything else.  I've been coloring my hair for nearly 10 years and it's necessary for me to utilize a shampoo and conditioner system that will hydrate and maintain my color; Pureology does just that. 

Pureology was once available only in salons, but was recently purchased by L'Oreal - so one can find it in various mass retail outlets (Target, CVS).  While it's a tinge pricey, ~$25 a bottle, it's absolutely worth it if you want to maintain your mane.

I have tried the whole line of Pureology products, and they are all wonderful!  The straightening products make my curly hair straight and shiny, the hydrating products condition like no other, and the volumizing products are a miracle for my fine, thin hair.  I like to mix the straightening shampoo with the hydrating conditioner, then apply the volumizer and the Root Lift before drying.  I end up with a new head of straight, shiny, full hair! I only wish the products were a little bit cheaper--I usually end up spending about $80 for the shampoo, conditioner, and volumizer.

Really does what it says!  Pureology has amazing products.  I have to get my gray roots colored every 5 weeks.  Not something that I'm proud to say... But my hair dresser told me about this product line and gave a sample.  My color lasts much longer. My naturally wavey hair feels so silky.  I have long hair so I go through the conditioner much quicker than the average person.  The only downside....they've got to make this line more affordable.

Pureology Shampoo and Conditioner for color/perm treated hair is the best product I have experienced in a long time.  My hairdresser recommended it for my hair.  I am a african american woman & cancer patient and am really careful about what I put in my hair.  I was apprehesive at first but when I saw the finished product, I was hooked.  It made my hair soft and silky for up to a week.  I began to think about maybe it was the stylist and not the product.

I moved from a small town to a big city and a college friend of mine was always on top of fashion and beauty..and we went to a fancy boutique where she got her shampoo and hair care products...I said..HOLY CRAP! When I saw the price for the not 'jumbo' sizes I usually see for that price...BUT I bought it thinking if my friend swears by it...I'll try it out, and if not, she said she'd buy mine from me if I didn't care for it...So, what did I have to lose? I used it and fell in love! You only need a little bit...and its the best shampoo experience when you have to do it yourself with the refreshing...

How much do I love Pureology shampoos and conditioners?  Let me count the ways!

I really love this stuff.  It smells great and makes my hair feel clean but definitely doesn't way it down.  Yes, it's definitely more expensive than your standard drugstore brand shampoos and conditioners but it's worth the money.  Plus, you don't have to use very much and can make a bottle last a long time.

Pureology hydrating shampoo is the one in the purple bottle.  It protects my color from the chlorine in the pool and from the head of the sun or blow-dryer.  My hair always feels healthy once I started using this shampoo and the matching conditioner.  When shampooing, it also leaves a tingling sensation on the scalp and a peppermint smell.  To me, this feels extra clean and invigorating.  I would recommend this shampoo brand to anyone with color treated hair.  This shampoo has proved to protect my color the longest and I now go 8 weeks between color instead of 6.  For those of you concerned...
