Pureology Hydrate System Duo Review

Pureology Shampoo and Conditioner for color/perm treated hair is the best product I have experienced in a long time.  My hairdresser recommended it for my hair.  I am a african american woman & cancer patient and am really careful about what I put in my hair.  I was apprehesive at first but when I saw the finished product, I was hooked.  It made my hair soft and silky for up to a week.  I began to think about maybe it was the stylist and not the product.

I borrowed the shampoo and some conditioner from my neice.  She gave me a small amount of the product and I protested thinking I need much more.  I have a lot of thick hair.   She warned me that the product may not lather during the first wash but will during the second. 

When I used the product I was skeptical but all I used was a quarter size the first time and nickel size the next.  That was all that I needed.   The product does wonders for dandruff and build up that you may have from putting products on your hair during the week.  You can feel the conditioner tingling and the fragrance is not overpowering.  Your hair is soft, clean, very manageable and ready to style.  

I began using it between my straightening perms when I was undergoing treatment.  When I straightened my hair after washing it, you could not see new growth.  I was able to keep this up for 3 weeks or more.  My neice was able to keep from getting a perm for up to 4 weeks when she was pregnant with this product.   

When I went to buy the product, I was shocked by the price.  However, you use just a little bit of the product and it can last you for quite some time.  I have been using it for myself and my 11 year old daughter and ours lasted for about  a year.  Wonderful product and I will continue to use it for years to come.  I am now looking into their other products.
