Pureology Hydrate System Duo Review

Pureology hydrating shampoo is the one in the purple bottle.  It protects my color from the chlorine in the pool and from the head of the sun or blow-dryer.  My hair always feels healthy once I started using this shampoo and the matching conditioner.  When shampooing, it also leaves a tingling sensation on the scalp and a peppermint smell.  To me, this feels extra clean and invigorating.  I would recommend this shampoo brand to anyone with color treated hair.  This shampoo has proved to protect my color the longest and I now go 8 weeks between color instead of 6.  For those of you concerned about products being tested on animals, this one is not and it is 100% vegan.  This brand should be purchase in a high end salon to know you are receiving the true product.  I have seen it sold at discount, non-salon stores, but I wouldn't trust the quality.  Pureology also has volume shampoo and conditioner which are just as great as the hydrating.  I prefer the hydrating in the summer when hair tends to become dryer and more damaged from pool water or salt water.  For those of you with well water and not city water, this shampoo does a great job of protecting your hair from the well waters harsh minerals which may be in the water such as rust or iron.
