Excellent school for theory based nursing.

one who demands quality heath care, married, practical, ask lots of questions

Pros

Has 2nd degree 15 month BSN program, Name Purdue is on diploma, 100% of 2nd degree students pass boards, scholarships available

Cons

Still is new and has kinks to work out, very very intense, hard to do w/ family

Purdue University School of Nursing - Indiana —

I am currently in the 2nd degree program and will recieve a BSN in August of 08. The accelerated program is fairly new and still has a couple kinks to work out. But if you are ready for an extreme challange, you can get a BSN in 15 months!!! Purdue is more a theory based program so you don't get quite as many clinical hours as other schools but they prepare you for thinking on your feet when you are done.

It is more than intense if you have a family. I am married and have a 2 year old, but it will be so rewarding after.

I recieved a scholarship that covered my books, tuition, new laptop, and childcare for 1 year, from a hospital. The money is out there if you are interested!!! Good Luck!!!
