I bought a Pur Minerals kit that included pressed powder mineral foundation, a bronzer and this blush. While I thought the foundation was just ok, I do like this blush. I like that Pur Minerals does not test on animals and I like that this product is petroleum and paraben-free. When I first started using this blush, I thought the color was too pale. I use a pretty dense brush that picks up color well, but I have to apply this several times to get the color I want. I realized that the marbling of the white/pink pressed powder blends into my skin so well, it was actually giving me the exact look I was going for, I just wasn't used to such a natural blush color on my cheeks. I know love Pur Minerals Universal Marble Mineral Powder - Pink!

I had very high hopes for this powder but it was a bit of a let down. The first problem that I had was that it was nearly impossible to pull the powder from the container with the brush. What I mean is that after attempting to get it on my blush brush I realized it wasn't working. It's not that it was just light in color, because I tried applying it to a tissue and it was still white. The powder was so caked in that I couldn't get it out. I used the butt end of my brush to scrape a little loose so I could use it and sigh, I was even disappointed with the color. It didn't look warm and natural like I had hoped. It was very obvious where I had put it and although it is a powder it ended up looking kind of greasy. It didn't illuminate my skin and didn't make me look healthy like I had expected. Perhaps I just got a dud, but for the cost of the product I would expect better quality control. Not a product I would recommend.

Pür Minerals' Universal Marble Mineral Powders come in 3 colors and are designed to be used to define your cheeks, eyes and lips. The pink color is a mosaic blend of light and dark pinks so you can create the color you want.  Since its by Pur Minerals, its made up of vitamins, minerals and other natural ingredients, including shea butter and vitamin E. Okay I'll be honest-I have no idea how to use this product.  It doesn't work for me. The color is way off.  Eyes-This is bright pink-I've never worn a bright pink eyeshadow. Personally I think it would make me look as though I had pink eye. Lips-This is a powder so applying it onto lips could be tough. I prefer gloss or lipstick-I would think this would be drying. Cheeks-The one use I would actually use this product for and the color is horrible on me.  I'm very fair and this pink is way too bright to be used as a blush.  Obviously color is subjective so this color could work for many people.
