This brand of dry shampoo is not one that I will ever buy again. This is why: I purchased this on a whim. It was on sale and I was out of dry shampoo. I usually wash my hair every other day, so I wanted something for the in between times. I used this dry shampoo the next day and it was terrible. The dry shampoo by Pssssst left my hair looking weird and clumpy. Also, it did not help with my oily roots. It actually made my hair looks less clean than before. The dry shampoo also gave my hair a strange texture. I was late for work, but I ended having to shower anyway. It was very frustrating because I really did not have time. I noticed that my hair also seemed look way more greasy as the day wore on. I would not recommend using this product. I have purchased other brands of dry shampoo since then and none of them did this to my hair. Effectiveness This dry shampoo effectively made my hair greasier instead of cleaner, which is the complete opposite of what it was supposed to do.

I have to give Pssssst Dry Shampoo a 6/10. It's not great to wash your hair more than twice a week so I figured I would use this dry shampoo to keep my hair looking great between shampoos. What I found is that it does make your hair look more clean, but it makes your hair feel gross. If you spray a lot of it, it makes your hair very thick and gives it an awful texture. It works better if you have your hair curly, otherwise you can see it has a lot of product in it. I don't recommend this product.

Pssssst Dry Shampoo was the first ever dry shampoo; the pioneer that started it all. I gave this product an overall rating of 8 because it gets the job done, but the feeling afterwards doesn't feel as good as it claims. I still feel, after using this product, that there is some grease throughout my head. This may be a concern to girls like myself who have thick naturally curly hair. Another factor may have been that i had hair spray already in my hair from the day before. Besides that, the product smells great, is easy to use, and adds lot of volume. The best use for this product is on hair the day after curling. Because my hair is naturally curly, i have to wash, blow dry, straighten, and curl to get the curls that i want. I have only ever done all of that in one day; it's just too time consuming. I use the dry shampoo to extend the time between my washes and time spent on curling. I also am a full-time college student, so time and sleep are precious. Any time saved from washing and styling my hair in the morning is time well saved by using this dry shampoo. Scent Smells clean and fresh.

I absolutely love this instant dry shampoo.. my hair gets oily after a couple days and this helps to clean my hair on days that I don't wash my hair! I love how it doesn't leave any white residue in my hair. I usually wash my hair over the weekend and then i'll leave it bunned up till its dry and it usually gets super curly so i straighten my hair after.. it will stay that way for a couple days but after it'll get oily and i'm not a fan of washing my hair too much cause i feel like my hair gets damaged and dry so when it gets oily i just spray PSSST on and brush my fingers thru.. sometimes i have to re straighten my hair but after it looks so clean and pretty :) I have tried other dry shampoos and this is the one i keep going back to. I just feel like it works better and not leaving white residue is a super plus in my book! The smell isn't that pleasant but fortunately it doesn't last too long.. Scent the scent of this product is my only problem.. i'm not a fan but luckily it goes away ;]

I am really busy and let's be honest, I don't always have time to wash my hair every day. This can pose a problem because I have very greasy hair. This is where dry shampoo comes in! I would say that out of all the dry shampoos I have tried, this one falls near the middle. It is not terrible, but also not one of my favorites. I think this dry shampoo does an okay job of absorbing excess grease. Using a moderate amount (few sprays), does reduce grease. However in order to completely mask the appearance of grease and get a freshly washed look, I have to use a lot of the product. This has caused me to go through the bottles very quickly. Another issue is that I have dark hair and this leaves noticeable white patches which can be difficult to make disappear, even with brushing. When I do brush the white patches out, the white just diffuses and tints my hair. I also do not like the smell of this dry shampoo. I think it is supposed to smell fresh but instead just smells sort of boring and "chemically." One thing I like is that this dry shampoo seems to add volume to dull, limp, and greasy hair. Also, the price is very inexpensive. I think this dry shampoo would work okay in a pinch, but I think there are better dry shampoos available which are more effective and smell nicer.

Maybe this stuff is better for blondes. I have very long very dark hair and this stuff turns my hair dull and leaves white patches. Doesn't add any volume back either, and has very little scent (which isn't that great smelling anyway). Within a few hours my hair looks greasy again, and the times I've used it I just ended up pulling my hair back anyway.

No time to wash your hair? No problem! "Psssssst!" dry shampoo is an instant life saver - it should be every girl's best friend. No matter what's wrong with your hair, be it a bit greasy, slightly oily, separated, or smelling like someone else's cigarette, "Psssssst!" is there to bail you out. Simply shake, spray, and wait a few minutes before brushing your hair out (perfect time to go ahead and get dressed, or apply your makeup!), and your problems will be solved! Granted, it doesn't replace the completely clean feeling of a shower, but boy does it ever do wonders - especially if you are pressed for time or just not able to get to a shower. I for one like to take this when on a roadtrip, as sometimes you just need a little pick me up before you can get to your hotel. The best part is it's only very lightly scented, so it won't overwhelm or give you a headache. My only complaints would be that sometimes the nozzle gets stuck (you'll have to run it under hot water several times before it will start dispensing again), and the seemingly limited availability I've noticed for the past six months. Petty details, however - this stuff is worth keeping with you at all times!****

It's a great product and I feel so lucky that I ever found out about it! It works extremely fast and saved me soooo many times. I could only count the situations when I was in a hurry, or sick or was called to go out last minute and had no time to jump in the shower. That's a wonderful product for all of us busy ladies that always want to look fabulous. Go for it! Make your life simpler! Just a word for those that love washing their hair and feeling squeky clean... Psssst doesn't give you that much, I have to say I'd be surprised if it did. So don't expect miracles, just expect clean and great looking hair that isn't really clean per say. You can't expect spray to give you the same effect as water and real shampoo.

I've heard about dry shampoo before, but was thinking it would be weird putting "powder" in my hair. My hair is usually wavy, and I straighten it which tastes about 20 minutes, so it gets annoying to straighten it daily. I finally gave in to trying pssssssst, and i'm glad I did! It gives your hair a fresh feeling, and helps control the oil in your hair. It doesn't help clean your hair 100%, but it helps manage your hair more! It took me a little while to get a hang of using it. You have the spray the powder in your hair at the roots, wait a few minutes, brush your hair, then style as usual. The first few times, I couldn't get the powder to mix into my hair, and found out i was usuing too much. A little spray does go a long way. The scent is a little weird, baby powder-ish. I'm not too fond of it, usually I use a refreshing spray or leave in conditioner spray to help freshen the scent of my hair.

I had been looking for a dry shampoo for a long time and couldn't really find any, they didn't have to many to choose from until I did a search and found this dry shampoo and read about it, it has been around for so long that I knew I had to get this one, I went to cvs and found it there, it was really hard to find, not everyone has it. So cvs has this and the price is actually really great which is another great thing about it! I bought it and tried it. After using it I like it. The smell isn't great to be honest, thats one thing that I would change but I can deal with it because it does feel like it cleans my hair, it's super easy to use but watch out because if you use to much or to close your hair will turn white and its hard to get rid of that look, after using it your hair does feel clean and it does get rid of all the greasyness and oils. I think it's very handy to keep around and take along with you on trips.
