keeps depression away
Though this is the generic form of Prozac it does not effect its potency. Having taken this for depression for approx. two months I can say I am pleased with the results. Side effects vary upon the individual taking it but I found them slight at most. Side effects include nausea, drowsiness, dizziness, anxiety, trouble sleeping, loss of appetite, weakness, tiredness, sweating, or yawning. I have had all of these but none extreme. There are of course serious side effects that should be reported to your doctor if they occur. In fact if you experience any besides the ones listed do so immediately. This medication is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) used to treat depression, anxiety disorders (panic attacks), OCD, bulimia and premenstrualcysphoric disorder. One particular side effect I have noticed is much more vivid and active dreams. Not in a disturbing or nightmare induced way, just more consistant. Depression has been supressed as a result of taking this medication which was the reason for it being prescribed. I do recommend taking this for depression.
