The lightweights choice of drugs (prescription, of course!)

I recently had surgery and was worried about the prescribed pain medicine. I have to admit, I am not a fan of taking pain medicine. I am a light weight and petite, and I often get over medicated and end up feeling worse on the pain medicine than without it. I commonly suffer from nausea, vomiting and dizziness. Vicadin is the worst offender for me, so I stay clear. Very clear. I talked openly with my doctor about my expectations around pain medicine upfront and ultimately decided to go with a pain medicine called Darvocet (clinically known as Propoxyphene).

Pain pill caused pain

petite, Tried this medication, thankful to my doctors, no allergies to other medications, a mother, a parent

I have cerebral palsy and this causes extreme tension headaches. I took darvoset weekly for a year or so. This pill was actually causing my headaches to worsen. I do have issues in taking presciption meds because my body adapts to them extremely fast. This pain pill is excellent for most people.
