Liberty Mutual
So far, so good! As an employee of Liberty Mutual, I switched my renter's insurance when I moved into my new place this year and actually got way better coverage than what I had before (plus, I can pay my bills and view my account online, which believe it or not, my previous insurer did not provide!). The rep I worked with was really patient and answered my many questions, helped me to understand what I needed to do to get my engagement ring covered, etc. Haven't had to submit a claim yet, but I'll be sure to come back and comment on this review if I ever do!
State Farm
There's a saying time is money. So true when State Farm is concerned. They take their time and want to save you money in everyway possible. When I was calling around I called State Farms and I endedu p hanging up on the agent because he was asking really unusal questions like if my parents had good driving records and i was like what does this have to do with me. Foremost
Foremost is an excellent insurance company. They have specialized in mobile home insurance for over 50 years, and also offer several other insurance products. Among the types of policies offered are motorcycle policies, motor home, travel trailer, homeowners, personal watercraft, automobile insurance, motorcycle and commercial lines.
The company is strong financially, with an A rating with A.M. Best. The parent company, Farmers, is also financially strong.
There are several avenues for speaking with an agent, including direct sales. Local agents throughout the country are available.

State Farm
I have used State Farm for more than 10 years and made claim a couple of times. They are timely and easier to deal with. The agent is quick in response. I always write to them in email and request quotes and info and they get back to me right away.
One time I had an auto accident. All I needed to do was to make a claim and they take care of the rest. I called the agent and transferred me to a claims department. Everything is deal with directly between the auto store and State Farm. No hassle. I like them.

Allstate Insurance
Allstate gave me a quote for automobile insurance to cover my husband, myself and 17 year old daughter. We have four (4) vehicles. She has good grades as evidenced by her report card, no moving violations, took drivers ed through the school. Allstate will not give a discount for the driving program, you must purchase their computerized program costing about $100 and upon completion of their program, you can get a 10% of the program cost reduction on your insurance each year while your kid is in school. progressive is the best there customer service is avalible 24/7 now wait and always helpful and paientce to your needs. If you are behind payments they will make a plane with you.
USAA
I have used USAA for my auto insurance and renter's insurance for about 10 years now and could not be any happier. I have had several agencies and none have treated me in the excellent way that USAA does. In every way, they are fantastic...from the very low and reasonable rates, excellent roadside assistance, and the way they handle a claim. When my daugher was still a teenager, we had a couple of claims, one of which was her fault. MetLife
Metlife recently put out advertisements for how cheap you could get a 10 year term life policy if you were in good health. I talked in length to the insurance salesman, who was very personable and nice. I signed all the paperwork and had my blood taken and medical records looked through. Two months later I get a response that my labwork was a little off and I have to shell out more money for a policy because I was in the next best bracket. I went and got a complete physical and it turns out my labwork was perfect. I think there is something shady here and they do not want to give out policies...

Allstate
I have had Allstate home insurance for 14 years. They have been with me through 2 large hurricanes and a total home reconstruction. They explain policy changes and the statements are clear and comprehendable. I always call when I have a problem since they have helped me work through many complicated items involving my mortgage company. I had to provide coverage to the worksite during construction and that was not a problem. They helped me identify and communicate to the mortgage company that I did not need flood insurance.
