Project Runway is a Bravo Channel original reality show where fashion designers compete for a fashion week spot, a monetary reward and the title of top designer. The host, Hiedi Klum is also a producer of the show. Tim Gunn is the mentor and guide for the contestants, while Nina Garcia and Michael Korrs join Hiedi in judging the designs.     Project Runway is now in its 4th season and the designers are as talented, crazy and individual as in the past.  If you have never seen this show - you don't know what you are missing! Each week fashion designers create an outfit based on what the challenge is.  The outfits are judged in a runway show, and the loser has to go home while the winner usually gets immunity and can not be eliminated from the next challenge.  This immunity is not granted when the show gets closer to the end and only a few contestants are left.

I love the show Project Runway. I did not see it the first couple of seasons but have been a advit fan for the last few. It amazes me what they make every week. I love watching alot of reality shows and this is definetly one of my favorite. Last weeks was amazing. What they did out of newspaper was mindblowing. Half of the outfits you couldnt even tell it was newspaper. I wish I had that kind of talent. I find myself fighting with the judges alot because some times I think they kick the wrong people off but most of the time they get it right. If you love fashion and reality tv you will love this...

One of my faves, it has a little bit of everything you could want in reality TV.

Creativity, drama and drama queens, lots of attitude, real feelings and a lot more.

The shows hosts Tim Gunn and Heidi Klum are perfect at what they do. Gunn in his inimitable way is somewhat fatherly, somewhat best friendy and all business at the same time. Klum is adorable with her German accent and her Auf Wiedersehens and double cheek kisses when a designer is voted off the show.

Project Runway is a reality show where designers have to design an outfit each week.  The challenge is usually based upon a certain client type or a particular fabric or theme.  The best designer of the week gains immunity for the next challenge and the worst designer is eliminated.  I love to see the quirky outfits the designers come up with and all the workroom drama between the contestants.  My favorite part of the show is Tim Gunn.  He always seems amazed(and not necessarily in a good way!) with what the designers are creating.  But even though he has a look of horror, he always try's...

Project runway had a masters show preceding the seasons premier all the stand out contestants from the last few seasons were there and it was great.  santino was in fine form and chris was there, although i'm not sure why korto made the cut she seems to have a piss poor attitude.  sweet pea was back and the one who won the challenge was daniel who has definetly grown since he was on the show and he was also so grateful  for his win.  i think that santino and chris should team up with michael p from the next food network star show and form a company i think they would make an amazing team and...

So, let's start by addressing the sound bite...  On one of the first episodes this season, the contestants all had to make menswear with generally horrible results.  Michael Kors, one of the judges and an incredible designer himself, says, "The crotch on those pants is insane!"

I was laughing hysterically (this isn't a comedy, by the way) and even my husband was amused.  He now watches Project Runnway with me!
