This is because your purchased Progressive through an Agency and if you were at fault, you would have had a spike and a representative from Progressive told me that they keep their premimums every six months so they can go up on them if they want and they are one of the few companies that rate you on your credit rating also and have a nationwide class action suit against them for improper practices for manipulating premiums, you can get a diifferent premim by calling an agancy, which is cheaper than online which is different than thought, so now you know why someone came out. I called a local agency and she told me if I bought my policy online, she could not service it so beware, got thru an independent agancy and get a real person as NO they do not usually send a real person out everytime...........
