I researched treadmills for performance, durability, ease of use, and affordability.  Of all the research, Proform came out on top.  They are not the least expensive, but considering that my entire family uses the treadmill, the other factors such as durability, performance, and ease of… read full review »

Proform Is the brand that I am familiar with. I had this particular treadmill until I had to down size to a smaller home. I had no problem reselling it. —   My daughter likes running on the treadmill and the tread was smooth without sliding to the side while she ran,… read full review »

I bought a proform treadmill a few months ago & it is great. It has all the features I wanted, but for a price I could afford.  The best part is it folds up to save space. I would recommend a proform treadmill to anyone looking for a quality treadmill at a decent… read full review »

I purchased a Proforma XP 550e  two years ago and I have to say I don't regret my decision.  At first I was a little anxious. There were so many treadmills on the market that I had no clue where to start.  So I started asking family and friends for advice. This led me to Sears where my aunt had purchased a treadmill. She swore this was the best treadmill for the price and performance. So of course I had to listen to her. I really did not want to start a family drama by not heeding the advice of my elders. —  So anyway, I purchased the Proforma ( buy the extended… read full review »

After ending my membership with a local gym (and their AWESOME equipment) I went through quite a bit of equipment in my home, but only one has stayed.  I purchased my ProForm XP 680 Crosstrainer in September and I love it!  It has the shock absorber springs and a great range of vertical height, not to mention many pre-programmed workouts (varying from endurance to calorie burning to a specific pound a week you'd like to lose!).  Most of the pre-programmed workouts are too intense for myself, but my husband likes them and can keep up with them. — You can also choose many… read full review »

This is for the proform 600 S..I noticed on some peoples comments their machine only had 2 preset workouts.  Mine has 4 preset workouts and includes hand weights with a place to put them on the actual machine.  I had my doubts about a machine that would "fold" but if it really worked then I was willing to give it a shot since I have VERY limited space in my apartment.  Rent in New York is ridiculous but space in New York is something of a dream.  This machine is actually a dream, my dream machine.  I get a fantastic workout and I never get bored when using the… read full review »

I just wanted to let you all know that I purchased a proform treadmill two years ago with the intention on walking on it every day and I must say that I have been very good about it, not that I get on it every day but I try to at least five times a week for 2-4 miles at a time. I like the proform because the motor is quiet and it's easy to use, it tells me my distance, minutes walked calories burned and fat calories burned. I am very happy with it. I would recommend this brand to anyone, I went with the middle priced one but I'm confident that the cheaper end would still have… read full review »

When we first started looking at treadmills we realized you could spend anywhere from under $100 to into the thousands.  Being the practical, but frugal person that I am, we looked for something that we would be happy with, but not have to sell the farm. We've owned a Proform treadmill for over five years and found it to be dependable, affordable and meets our needs.  My husband and I use it for walking indoors when the weather is bad.  My son comes home to use it for running when the weather is bad.  We've used most of the options and find it to be the most affordable and… read full review »

My son & I just started a month ago using a treadmill.  At first  it was boring, but I found if I watch a TV show or a DVD that's about the same time as my workout it goes faster & it's not as boring.  By the time the shows over I'm done & I'm not watching the clock. — — We have extra features on ours we never use except the fan - that we love.  Plain & simple is better.  We don't use the Ipod or all the fancy workouts.  The IFit is pretty cool though.  The space saver we thought would be useful, but found once a treadmill is put together it's… read full review »

My wife and I have owned a 380X for over 5 years.  This treadmill been very reliable and is well constructed. We both use it daily for a minimum of 30 minutes and have gone as long an one hour.  The machine maintains a count of calories and fat as well as the distance traveled.  The flex handles are useful for upper body exercise and complement the overall effectiveness of the workout. We purchased the extended warranty from Sears and this was a very useful item as the annual maintenance was done at no additional cost to us.  The warranty also… read full review »

I purchase mines from HSN which made it more affordable with their flex payment options this.  This was several years ago and the models has greatly approve since with extended warranties and better belt sizes.   The constructions is so well made that I have not had any problems with my treadmill so I would have wasted money on a warranty.  I do like the "extras" like iFit (fitness assistant), and an adapter so I can play my ipod, incline up to 10, built in heart monitor and fan.  If I upgrade I will stay with the Perform brand but do so in lieu of an extend warranty. —… read full review »

I have owned two Proform treadmills and have had very good luck with both of them.  My first one I had for twelve years and only got rid of it in order to buy a new one with more options on it.  I have had my new one for three years and it has done great.  I have had absolutely no problems with it and would recommend it to anyone that wants a good treadmill.  I use my treadmill every week day - so it does get a good workout.  I also like the fact that you can "build" your own program and save it to use at any time you may want… read full review »

The proform crosswalk 415 is an awesome treadmill. I bought it to get exercise in. Then I had to have total knee replacement. After the surgery I used that after I was able to walk to strengthen my knee. It really helped me to make my knee strong again. I am so pleased with this product. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to just exercise or to strengthen thier knees or legs. —… read full review »

Less expensive than other brands, but fewer options on routine variance. Has no complicated buttons or switches. Easy to select programs, but has few to choose from. I liked the way it feels when I walk. The length of my stride is longer than most, but this product accomodates me without making me change my stride. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants an easy to use… read full review »
