I ordered my proform online because I was pressed for time and money. I did look at the reviews for it prior to making the purchase and I had owned a Pro Form treadmill before and that lasted for about 10 years before the belt completely snapped off of it. That treadmill came with a t.v. and that being the reason I bought it was the first feature to break down, then it started shutting off on its own in mid-run. Not only is that dangerous but extremely annoying but if you "jiggled" the wires just right it would eventually turn back on. The newest one that I purchased was again cheap and had fairly good reviews but it did take 6 weeks to get to me which was just in tome for the bad weather in Michigan to break. Then the part of the display was all banged up but i did not want to wait and go through the trouble of dis assembling, returning and re packaging a treadmill that weighs at least 150 pounds so I kept it, then some of the buttons came loose now the motor is REALLY loud and I have only owned it for a couple of months. The advantage is that it has a really long motor warranty. Unfortunately if everything else falls off of it in the meantime and stops working that is not covered.
