This product is great for persons with mixed or "ethnic" hair. It is moisturizing light weight and has a pleasant smell Effectiveness This product is effective in conditioning and moisturizing all hair types however I found it to be one of the better products to use on hair that chemically treated or hair that has natural kinks and curls. You can maximize its effectiveness by applying a generous amount after shampooing to your hair cover with a shower cap and sit under a hair dryer for 20mins with warm heat. This gives the hair a deep treatment or "steam" which helps in the product's strengthening potential. When used with the entire line of products this conditioner can stimulate and improve hair growth Scent The product smells great however some people may find it a bit to "sweet-smelling". Another issue/concern (with sweet smelling hair products) is that it is more likely to make hair smell "sour" if not rinsed and dried properly
